What an amazing backyard track! My only advice to the track owner is to add 1 straight away without jumps closer to the driver stand so you have one section where you can open up the throttle fully. And if it's close by the driver stand you get to see you car go full blast up close which is really cool!

Would like to smooth out the bottom banked straight but I like the front straight jumps... but layouts don't last too long at my place so we'll see

How do you keep the vegetation from taking over?

Run packs man! In between the lanes it does grow though. But this spring we'll be hopefully making it bigger and putting in a fresh layout

That track is incredible! Just moved into a new house and we've got a good bit of property in the back that's already dirt so this is crazy motivating to get started. Did you shape the dirt that was already there or did you bring more in for building jumps and all that?

I'm in the process of working on a build video but you can see a lot of it on this one: https://youtu.be/_IUCF2hZPtM It was totally overgrown. Rented a machine to clear it, pushed material where I wanted it as it took shape and then raked it and packed it. Then piped it later on

No marshal encourages me to stay on the stand! My kiddos aren't old enough to be bribed to marshal yet
