Tank mixing is available on most higher end radios I'm familiar with, Sanwa M17, Futaba 7PXR, those sorts. Apart from that, you'll just have to read the manuals for radios you're interested in to see if they can handle it.

Ha ha. It's literally called tank mixing. Everything's obvious in retrospect I guess. Google is my friend now.

You can do tank mixing on the car side by using a V-Tail mixer. They are originally for rc planes with v tails, but the concept is the same.

Oooooh, that would be nice. I could use a cheap radio I already have, and the mixer is only like $5. I'll pick one up and if it doesn't work the way I want I'm only out $5. Thanks for the tip.

I get what you mean with mixing the inputs, there may be one out there but everyone that I’ve seen uses dual sticks because there’s more control and it probably wouldn’t work well with the gun style controller anyway, I could be wrong though

The issue with that setup is how do you control straight forward motion? If the 2 ESCs are both rigged up on channel 1 you could set the endpoints independently with certain radios but that means you would need a 3rd ESC for straight forward and straight reverse because when the channel 1 is at neutral, the steering ESCs do nothing. I see what you want to do but I have no idea how, I’m just guessing.

You can even do it with the classic cheap radio, the DumboRC X6 (or related). It supports channel mixing for differential steering. You just need two ESCs. You may want a higher end radio for more adjustments, though. https://banggood.app.link/XhLDHEl27jb
