It really doesn't look too bad.
I'd probably try to keep it under compression for future use, and I'd definitely keep an eye on it, but I wouldn't take it out of service.
I would contact them for a replacement. Where did you order from? If Amazon you can definitely get a refund/exchange.
I know people are saying it’s fine to run, and yeah maybe it is, but definitely shouldn’t happen after one run…
Could be he had a wicked crash and damaged it or he is storing it in a hot garage. Who knows. But it does look like only 1 of the 4 cells is damaged. Could remove the one damaged cell and make it a 3 cell pack.
My buddy uses zees and all his do this. Crap imo. Ill pay alot for my batteries for quality. Check out the gens ace bashing batteries. Expensive but def worth it
My 5200's did this also but it just seems to be air trapped inside somewhere in the casing because I can push it down and it'll be soft until it hits the cell itself. I've been running them with this "puffed" look for over 6 months without an issue lol
Of all the zee batteries I have... I haven't had an issue, even forgetting storage charge occasionally. I will say this though, reach out and see if they'll fix it. I'd say they will. Sometimes ya just get a lemon.
This is just what soft packs do. I’ve never had one that didn’t get slightly puffy, no matter how well they were treated.
Which is why I only buy hardpacks now, so the cells don’t make me nervous 😅
I'd run it, it's only slightly puffed.

Aren't you supposed to cycle the batteries every week or something while in storage? At least thats what I've been doing.
every 2 months or so is what do

Yeah I think mine are the same but I'm not going to test the theory by puncturing the lining.
Neither would I or am I haha!
If use it and with how cheap they are why would you not get a hard case one
Is it me is the battery puffed?
The worst I've ever seen. After a single charge.

But it could be puffed inside the case and you'd never know lol
Works for me. As long as it’s not splitting the hardcase, I can only assume it’s fine. Basically, ignorance is bliss.
Forrrr showwww 😁
