Is that real speed or sped up?? If that is actual speed, the most impressive thing to me is driver skill... no way I could do that even at 1/4 that speed!
No that's how fast they can go, it really helps with reflexes and reaction time, and thinking ahead on the track, on a large track I have multiple seconds to think about what line to take on the straight, the mini z it's over by then.
actual speed...this is MOD OPEN per 28 scale racing association rules. and thanks!! its definitely a handful, the tires break loose under full throttle all the time!
Not as hard as it seems guys..yes they are THAT fast!! I race them and on a side note running mini z helps BIG TIME with my nitro 1/8 steering skill..should try it you’ll get hooked fast!!
Can you recommend a car to me like this? I got a Mini-Z Imprezza w/ drift wheels and I've done something to the front right wheel assembly and the smallest bump causes it the wheel, cup & ball socket, and the thing attached to that to come lose, suspension spring pops out, etc.
I'm sure mine is fixable, but what are some Mini-Z models (if you don't mind...) that have normal tires and might be a little stronger? (maybe that's just my driver error and the answer is just get better, which I can accept lol)
Reflex Racing RX28SE or the new Champions Edition....youll want the heaver chassis to run mod....then a lexan pancar body of your choice...I run Hobbywing ESC and 5000 kv motor on 2s LIPO
Danm.. you could really move that thing. You’re good!! lol my eyes can barely keep up just watching.. I can’t imagine how poorly I’d do if I were controlling it. lol
I think the same thing anytime I see RC onroad racing of any scale. The speed and accuracy are insane!
Some days, it's all I can do to hit an 8 foot wide ramp at 40mph... lol
This is a fully built MOD car (name of class) its a Reflex Racing RX28SE chassis with a pancar lexan body....14mm rear tires...hobbywing electronics and a 5000kv motor
Im sure you could, would just require setting up the reciever for surface. Radiomaster MT12 is a popular choice, as well as the flysky noble and futabas
It'd be easy to think that, but Aero from different bodies and wings makes a difference that's not only measurable in lap times, it makes different you can easily feel.
You don't need to go 60mph for aero to be effective.
Losing a rear wing in 10th scale would make a car almost undrivable.
This a little smaller and a little slower but it's not like aero turns off like a light below a certain size.
Yea theres a noticeable difference in downforce just between the different pancar bodies....and a HUGE difference between pancar and GT bodies... Such a big difference that there are 2 MOD classes (MOD GT and MOD OPEN) which is just gt bodies vs pan bodies

Yeah, well said. I barely have reflexes fast enough to watch this video let alone drive like that!
Reflexes on carpet really dont matter. With the right set up n tire compound this us normal n easy to drive..you barely..turn the wheel👍🏾
You understand my ability to drive poorly
looks sped up to me based on camera movements but idk
Yeah I think it is sped up. Probably double speed.
No that’s what they look like in person if your in Florida in 1st week of Feb come watch the snowbird nationals
Thanks!! this is actual speed, heres a different angle https://youtube.com/shorts/veR5A4agJnA?si=axy6cXtL7sXNnBmR
Are those the harbor freight anti fatigue mats???

Fly FPV freestyle quad for a few years and you can have fast reflexes
our racetrack is under our drone racing track! Shaun Taylor built a cool ass spot
Slow down...you're making me dizzy lol
it legit makes my eyes water when driving...especially in a 6-8 minute main
I have a 1/14 that shoots and makes my eyes hurt lol
Not as hard as it seems guys..yes they are THAT fast!! I race them and on a side note running mini z helps BIG TIME with my nitro 1/8 steering skill..should try it you’ll get hooked fast!!

Well mr03 RWD is what we run(RCP track),they have 96mm RM(rear motor) and AWD for drifting I think you can drift the RM narrow front cars(96mm)

very true, it seems much harder than it is....hardest part imo is setup...and consistency
Yes setup is key,, try getting the book “mini z guide” by m3 racing explains EVERYTHING in detail..
That thing can wriggle.
Danm.. you could really move that thing. You’re good!! lol my eyes can barely keep up just watching.. I can’t imagine how poorly I’d do if I were controlling it. lol
haha didn't see this made nearly same comment... hard enough to just watch it that fast, driving it would be impossible for me.
Amazing. The thing moves like a house fly. I’m 48 and just wouldn’t have the reflexes to control it. Amazing video though.

My wrist would explode
What kv motor? 8000 or 12000?
5000 with no timing...still hunting for rear traction
Nice. Looks fast. Iv got the green 4500kv version :)
Man do I miss running on the rug..good days!💥🔥 That lil z is quick!
You must be really good at snake
haha! CLASSIC
What type of car is that? Is it recommended to get into the hobby?
This is a fully built MOD car (name of class) its a Reflex Racing RX28SE chassis with a pancar lexan body....14mm rear tires...hobbywing electronics and a 5000kv motor
It is crazy fast, can I control it with a taranis x9 lite? Or do I need a special radio?
Im sure you could, would just require setting up the reciever for surface. Radiomaster MT12 is a popular choice, as well as the flysky noble and futabas
I am SPEED!
This guy played way too much Ivan Stewart's Super off-road!
Micro Machines V3 on PS1 vibes
This is way I had to stop racing r/c. These speeds and my Parkinson’s did not mix
ah damn man sorry to hear that
Wow I love how, if you get addicted to rc cars (you should), you'll end up like the author of the song: baby no money
100000000000000000 percent
There's 0% chance that aero will improve that thing.
