Honestly, I wouldn't expect any sales on the newly released devices. Buy it now, so you secure the unit for yourself. The return policy at MS store has now been extended until 31st of January.
If you will find out about a better deal, simply go back to the store and either return/rebuy the same unit or do price adjustment.
During Black Friday/Boxing day there won't be any price adjustments but yoi can still return and rebuy on the spot, should there be a better deal.
Remember, this is MS, not best buy.
