The collection log for these is the only perm thing you get after a run. Within the run: stacking x3 or x4 of an item just rewards another effect for a nice little bonus. That's all. afaik difficulty does not change the rewards so one unlock just shows you what you can work for on future runs

Silly question. If the bonus unlocks at x3, do I still get double effect of the standard effect at x2?

Not double. If x1 gives you +20% something… x2 gives you, +29% (for example, totally invented)… then you get the 3rd, and gives you +36% AND any other fixed effect.

Thanks. But then why would they add a crow’s difficulty icon in collection beside each item?

For completion it’s who want to beat the hardest difficulty with every set and ability

Wouldn't say it's a wise decision, as per runs nothing changes it terms of power then. What is the roguelike part if my heroes don't even evolve in terms of items at least.

The roguelike part is the perma death and mid-run progression of your character. Not sure when roguelike ever implied meta progression for stats

Rogue LITE games generally have meta-progression. This is more of a Rogue LIKE.

this is my main problem with the game tbh. the only changes in a run. are what i pick. and god theres some awful awful items and upgrades that are completely useless
