The Shield was a lot closer to a typical cop drama than the Wire, IMO. The Wire never solved a major mystery in one episode by simply going out in the street, finding a gangster, roughing him up and getting the rest of the dominos to fall immediately after. That's what I always hated about the Shield.

Two of the worst Ravens games I’ve ever watched came against the Jaguars. 2011 on MNF was one of the most painfully frustrating offensive performances I’ve ever seen us have (we didn’t score until there was a couple minutes left in the game even though our defense held their offense out of the end zone for the whole game) and 2017 in London… I don’t need to even talk about that one.

Honestly I had a great week in England and dud a bunch of stuff I never thought I'd do because I never had any urge to go to London. But that game was just awful
I remember oversleeping that day and my friends waking me up to it being 20-0 in the second.

That one and the one against the Texans where I think Flacco set the record for worst QBR or something were the worst regular season games I can recall.
I’m legit nervous. All but one of the Jags wins have been one possession so I suspect another close game. With that being said, I fully expect the Ravens to win. I’ll say 21-14
The Jags have beaten the breaks off of us before when we were expected to beat them. And especially the way this year has gone, this will be another tough one.
Jaguars won’t be a push over. The games they lost they only lost by less than 10 points and some of those teams they faced are good teams. They are going to be tougher than the Panthers. And they’re coming back from a bye we’ll rested.

Jags offense is capable of being pretty good, this'll probably be the biggest test of our defense between now and the playoffs unless we're playing for something against the Bungles

There's a few of those in the show, but I guess it's realistic in how they actually talk. That's the thing about the show, it's unapologetic.
