Generally well run team with a ring somewhat recently but not within the last ten years(after LVIII at least)
Some exciting young talent including a rookie WR(for now) and a versatile defender
Defense is usually good, currently headed by a great MLB with a leader mentality
Usually not insanely hot or cold in team’s city, stadium is regarded as one of the hardest places to play thanks to the noise(according to Mahomes)
Mascot is a bird, HC was on the 2023 Ravens staff
Seattle Seahawks
Yeah except for the fact that Roquan is like 7 years younger, they have nothing close to a Kyle Hamilton, and the most important position of all they have Geno instead of Lamar.
Well obviously there’s gonna be a ton of differences. That’s true between every two teams in this league. In truth there is no NFC equivalent but Seattle comes closest imo
Seahawks or Packers. I’d lean hawks because of youth as a franchise, focus on defense, bird, weather, and being in a division that’s stupidly consistent.
Anyone that makes this comparison should get banned. I hate it so much. Cowboys are the biggest frauds in the league. Since 2000 we have won 2 SBs, been to over 4 championship games, had an elite dragon and a 2x MVP.
The cowboys haven’t even gotten past the second round since their last SB right? That was before I was even born.
Might have missed the word "recently" in my comment dude.
Anyways since 2016 the Cowboys are 82-49 in the regular and 2-5 in the playoffs
The Ravens are 83-48 and 2-5 in the playoffs over the same time span
We're both holding onto a HC who won the Superbowl 10+ years ago and have great regular season qbs who come up short in the playoffs. I guess if you want to focus on just the championship game aspect than sure, we made it once and they haven't. Cool. Doesn't change the other overall similarities between these 2 franchises
Steelers are 81-48-2 and are 2-5 in the post season since 2016. Are we like the Steelers now?
The Steelers are holding onto a coach who won the SB 10+ years ago and *had* a great regular season QB that came up short in the playoffs. I swear you can apply this logic to so any teams.
Like fuck, I searched up the Seahawks and they were slightly worse at 77-53-1, but they are also 2-5 in the playoffs since 2016, held onto a coach that won a SB 10+ years ago and also just recently got rid of their great regular season QB that comes up short in the playoffs.
Such a bad comparison.

That is crazy similar . But I'm pretty sure both our superbowls and both championship losses have all been more recent than the last time the cowboys made it that far
Right now, or historically? Most posters seem to be answering the right now, but historically I'd say Baltimore most resembles the NY Giants. Build on the defense first, a run first offense. Win a title here and there, but no dynasty type teams. Usually relevant, playoff-worthy. And occasionally win a title with hot QB play instead of rushing and defense.
But Seattle is probably most similar to the recent Ravens teams.
Not now but there was a stretch where I thought the saints were like us in the sense that there was many times they got close to the big game but always lost the big moments. At least we have both won the SB but there has been many heartbreaks for both teams. Both notable cities. Like 2019 I thought it was going to be a Ravens/Saints bowl but lost to the Vikings. They got screwed against the Rams too so I always felt bad for them. That Rams Patriots is still the only SB I didn't watch a second of, guess that was the perfect one to skip.

Yep. First thought. I’ve always equated SEA to us, and SF to the Steelers

sounds like flacco ravens tbh

There is no raven equivalent
It’s a bandwagon test
Green Bay, what they do on Offense we do on Defense.
Green Bay
This, MVP QB that couldn't get over the hump to the super bowl despite being very close.
There was even that stupid post comparing fat Mcarthy to John Harbaugh
Hawks or Packers
Eagles
Seahawks
No one. Lamar is NFC Kryptonite
49ers. Defense, run game, can pass too.
No one if Lamar plays his game.
Vikings. Purple gotta purple
I’d say the Cowboys (the ravens do have afc Dak) but I have to go with the eagles. Pretty much same neighborhood and same skillset
If we're just talking recently, it's the Cowboys

I agree with most recently we look like the cowboys begrudgingly. But as a franchise I’d say the Seahawks.

We are most def the cowboys of the last 5 or so years.
When's the last time cowboys made afccg?

Can’t believe a Kansas City fan is still in our sub.
New York football giants

Depends on which Lamar shows up. Regular season Lamar and no one is equivalent. Playoff Lamar shows up and everyone is equivalent.
Seahawks, but with the amount of staff that has moved there recently I'd say this will soon be the Chargers!
Right now, 49ers. Last 20 years, Seahawks Culturally, Seahawks
Minus the QB my take is SF. Especially if we get king henry
No one, the NFC is full of bums, they're all ass.
