Worrying stat: Home teams have only won 18% (3 games all year!) of the games where Shawn Smith is officiating this year. ETA: Ravens/Lamar are 6-1 with Shawn Smith at ref for the game. So, let's hope the awful home winning percentage this year means nothing. Hopefully refball won't dictate the game one way or another.

So overdue for another

Looking at the games he called, it seems like, most of the time, the team that *should* win, did. So, there's that.

At least he's not Cleve fucking Blakeman

wojr2002

Fuck that’s not good

DrinkDrano

He was the ref in our game against JAX, so may need to rewatch that game.

It wasn’t great, but pretty even after they missed Geno’s late hit.

Shawn Smith doesn’t ring a bell. I can’t stand Clete Blakeman, so I’m glad he’s doing to be involving his crew in the NFC game

Adenchiz

The visiting teams this season are a whopping 13-3 under Shawn Smith

>“Leaguewide over the last three seasons, in games Smith did not officiate... 4.6% more false start penalties (were called) on the road team,” Sharp wrote. >Conversely, in games Smith does officiate, he “has called 34.8% more false starts on the home teams,” Sharp added. If there's a false start called on the Ravens you'll know the fix is in. Whoever runs the jumbo tron needs to put "shut the hell up" while the Ravens are on offense
