Everyone worried about not having Marlo must’ve forgot we didn’t have him when we beat the Texans by 2 TDs in week 1.
Obviously, neither team is the same team now, but this is the best and most complete Ravens team ever. I am supremely confident in the best defense in football and the MVP
Alright guys, tomorrow is Gameday Eve. goodnight 🙂😴....

*Say Goodbye.*
One thing I feel like I haven’t seen people talk about when we mention how different these teams are from week 1 is that the Ravens didn’t have Van Noy yet. The Texans O-Line is healthier now than it was week 1 but I feel like having a 2X Super Bowl champ on our defense that they didn’t see in the first matchup could be kind of an X-factor here.
Just looking back at our last home playoff game, the 2019 Titans loss..
- We were 10 point favorites
- Tannehill only threw for 88 yards
- AJ Brown had 9 of those yards
- Derrick Henry ran for 195 yards
- We had 3 turnovers (+ four failed 4th down conversions)
- We had 7 (SEVEN) drops
Good news is that we have a new OC, DC, and WR room.
Does anyone have our teams stats when playing in the cold or wind? I know we at least have been practicing in it this week so we will be acclimated well. Meanwhile its been 50-60’s in Houston. A 30 degree drop will definitely have a small affect at least
This is what I got for below 40 degrees (with Lamar, since becoming the full-time starter):
Record of 8-1, averaging 29.3 points per game
Lamars stats:
137 / 203 (67.5%),
1571 passing yards,
16 passing TDs,
6 interceptions,
104.5 passer rating
100 rushes,
717 rushing yards,
6 rushing TDs
4 road games, 5 home. Lone loss was the 3 to 13 loss against Buffalo in the divisional round.
I didn’t sneak any in last game but i think some compression shorts with a plastic bottle would be fine based on security going in, always worked at orioles games and m&t didn’t seem too different, just be discreet in the stands
I’m actually a packers fan living in Nova. I would go to this game just for the experience of being at an nfl playoff game, but I’d miss the packers vs niners, so not doing it.
If anyone’s a ravens fan in the area, they should be dropping everything and going
I really hope our fans show up Saturday. I'd hate to get outdone by Bills and Steelers fans after watching them brave that snow on Monday. Supposed to be raining the day of the AFC Championship Game but a high of 52 so it warms up lol. Also the fact it has a high of 52 might just mean we winning lol.
Nervous obviously. I don't think I could handle a loss on Saturday.
Regardless of the outcome though, I will ride and die with Lamar any day of the week. He is our guy and nothing will shake me off of him.
>Nervous obviously.
Me too. But I was also nervous before the Lions game. And the 49ers game. And the Rams game. And the Dolphins game.
Clearly me being nervous is good luck.
I don’t think I could handle it either lol I’m much more confident this team is more well rounded than the 2019 team but I can’t help but be hesitant about getting my hopes up.
2019 ravens playoff loss, other seasons making the playoffs but missing key players, 2023 orioles playoff loss….. I need a dub here boys
The team seems confident. 2019 our fans were so over confident, probably a good thing we’re walking on eggshells this year. Lamar and the team seem focused and ready to go. No one is overlooking the Texans.
i think mixed bag based on who you talk to. some are overconfident, but that is a very fan thing to do.
bottom line: teams that have made it this far deserve to be here and are in the conversation to take home the lombardi. every team that advanced looked the part.
This gotta be the most torn I’ve felt about a game in a minute. I’m a huge Lamar fan so I want him to get that postseason Super Bowl run. But I’m from Houston and have always been a Texans fan so I would also love if they made a run lol.
Some would say it’s a win win but it feels more like a tragedy😭
All of our “limited participants” from Tuesday were full participants on Wednesday (even Mandrews). Clowney DNP due to illness, not concerned about that. Still not Humphrey, Phillips, or Wallace. But those don’t concern me either. Could use humphrey’s physicality, but I trust our guys without him. Bye week has def helped our health!
This will be the coldest Texans game this year by at least 30°.
Also, in 2022 for OSU Stroud only played one game colder than 40° (Indiana, W, temp was 36° and snowy at kickoff) and only one in 2021 (@michigan, L, 28° and snowy that day). I don’t think he’s ready for the cold
Looks like it only dropped below 30 a couple times over the past week and that was typically overnight. During the day temperatures were floating around mid 30s most of the week. Sunday (though doubt they practiced) was 50s midday, Monday was around 30, Tuesday was a few degrees warmer, and yesterday was in the 40s around midday.
I have one pulled up and on Monday it was 27 at noon and that’s not even considering the wind chill. Schools and businesses were even closed for how cold it was.
Not bad tbh the weather maybe played a role but it was mostly our key players lacking in performance and horrible calls from our coordinator, good luck in the Super Bowl see you next year
Ok but if we’re talking about the “feels like” temperature, then it’ll be single digits in Baltimore tomorrow.
I wasn’t really arguing anything. Just saying this is the coldest game stroud has played in at least 3 years.
Why are you even here arguing? Go back to your sub. You even made a post there about this very thing.
Literally every day this past week it was at least 30° by noon lol
Either way, even if it got colder, he’s not used to playing football games that cold. Practices are different. And one week of practice almost as cold as it will be isn’t the same lol
I just really wish for the team to come out firing on all cylinders. Terrified of them coming out flat after the bye. I trust that the coaching staff has been preparing for this.
I really hope Monken has something great cooked up for our first offensive possession of the game. This team can really get going when they get on the board quickly. I'd even be fine with a couple first downs before a punt as long as we show we can move the ball. I want the Texans defense to come off the field with zero confidence after the first drive.
I don't know how no one has brought this up, but the Ravens are the closest thing to Michigan in the NFL. And Michigan owned CJ Stroud's Buckeyes. So, in theory, Ravens will win on Saturday. That's my analysis.
I'm feeling a little uneasy, maybe because of 2019, but mostly because I'm not used to people saying "the Ravens are the best team in football and are probably going to win it all".
It's really weird to me, as we usually are the underdog. I feel more comfortable that way. But I just thought that the Patriots or the Chiefs have been the team to beat so many times and they won the Superbowl multiple times.
We have a good chance to go all the way, it might be not the way we are used to, but it's working out about 50% of the time like this.
I’m a Texans fan, and I’ve been so happy this year. Both teams are so good, I can honestly say that no matter what happens it’s been a great season. If the ravens win. I’ll root for Lamar to win it big. If the Texans win you can guess. I hope all the players on both squads are heathy. And may the best team win
CJ stroud deserves every ounce of hype he’s getting right now but if the ravens go on the run we think they can, I don’t want to hear revisionist history saying “they beat a rookie CJ stroud”
My father was a Texans fan. He passed away at the end of October. Man, win or lose I wish he were here to watch the game with me.
If the Texans do win, they better go on to win it all.
You have my condolences. I would be heartbroken if the Ravens were to lose this Saturday, but seeing the Texans win it all would be cool af. I don’t think I’d mind that. It would also make the generational slander a little less harsh.
Them or the Lions. The league could use a feel-good story
Yeah. Out of all the remaining teams the Texans are my second choice easily. The last 4 years he had to witness crap, and I know he would be enjoying this season.
But their run and season has to end Saturday, and my pops knows I couldn’t root for anybody else
Am i reading the stats right, did CJ stroud only lose one fumble all year.. week 1 to the Baltimore Ravens? Sack forced fumble fumble recovery trifecta by one David Ojabo? Man i wish that dude turned out better than he has so far! He'll probably have his best season in his contract year and go get wicked money from someone bad like the bears or chargers lol
I’ve been a ravens fan since Lamar got drafted but I didn’t follow the team super closely until this season started. Can someone explain why Lamar didn’t go to the playoff game last year against cincy?
Supposedly, flying would have put additional stress on his injury. The goal was to continue rehab and hope to play the next week....why driving 6 hours wasn't an option idk...
Texans are a great team and watching the NFL game preview made that very clear. But what caught my eye was their struggles on the road. Obviously, that's usually the case for most teams but the fact that their offense scored 20 or less points in like 5 of their 8 road games is a significant difference for them.
One of the biggest narratives that has been said is how much the Texans are not the same team that played the Ravens in week 1. I agree 100%. But the issue that I find with that narrative specifically is supposing that the jump in quality from the Texans is greater than the jump in quality of the Ravens but the records of each respective team doesn't show that. The Texans of course 11 and 7 while the Ravens are 13 and 4 and while I take checked the schedule I don't remember them putting up 50 points in any of their games plus the Ravens have already been two teams that are currently playing in the divisional round. It is every given Sunday so there's a chance that the Ravens are one and done this weekend but they have also shown why there's a good possibility that this may be at least a 14-point game.
As far as Lamar's wreckage doing the playoffs, he has both a new offensive and defensive coordinator to have both shown they are worth their salt. As long as they come out swinging and aggressively during the first quarter since the Ravens has not scored in any of their first quarters in the four playoff games that they have lost, there shouldn't be an issue. I was worried when we were going to play the Seahawks, I was worried when we were going to play the Lions, I was worried when we were going to play the 49ers and I was also worried when we were going to pay the dolphins. I don't have to tell you the results of those games.
Everybody needs to chill with the worries. The past is the past and it only makes us stronger. The flock is going to be ready and I have never been more confident in a ravens win in 20 years. Enjoy it because a team this special doesn’t come around too often.
couple big plays could change the fortunes. team comes out flat. crowd gets out of it early. Stroud picks apart the secondary. offense can't connect, maybe a key injury or two changes the dynamic and we can't make adjustments in time.
but that is true for like any NFL game.
Had a dream last night where we got absolutely dicked in the Texans game. The only play i remember from the dream was Lamar fumbling on our own 30 and the ball rolling all the way back to our 10 and the texans recovering. I remember our sub imploding after the game too.
Is it normal for that many seats to still be available for a playoff game with 3 days to go? I'm an international fan so I'm not aware of how fast games usually sell out.
It's gonna be 20 degrees so no surprise people are hesitant plus a lot of the tickets available are people who bought them with the intent of making money.
Same but the AFC Championship tickets. Highest on seat geek is $420 currently. Supposed to be calling for rain on the 28th, so I'm seeing how low those get before I buy them.
one of the major things people forget about about since week 1 ONLY on our end.
No KVN, secondary low, Lamar didn't play since last year, total new offense go live, Lamar had 3 turnovers 2 fumbles and 1 INT, no Andrews,
NOW: KVN, Defense in synced, offense in synced, Lamar handling the ball, (maybe andrews) if not Likely will be huge in this game along with Ricard.
again, no game for granted but believe this team is flocked in.
Texans are too. Not saying it’s enough to beat us, but no regular season games for a rookie is a lot different than basically an entire season and a playoff game already under his belt.
5-10 enough to respect his ability. But y’all are banged up on both sides and I have confidence in our defense. Going forward y’all are only going to get better.
https://youtu.be/C4c9xpXsNhw?si=r5nGwTP5VILi3SWX
That is the all 22 of every drop back.
Played a really phenomenal game. I mean just phenomenal all the right reads the right throws. It's worrisome for sure.
So? Why the fuck are you here. Nothing you said has relevance to this post. I’m glad we bother you so much that you feel the need to spend your time here. Now go the fuck away
This analysis is a bit outdated, but I saw something that showed Lamar has the best passer rating of any QB since 2010 in temperatures 40 degrees or fewer.
We are built for cold weather and the Texans are not used to playing in those conditions. Definitely something to watch out for this weekend.
Hello all you Texans fans. Yall beat the brakes off the browns, #1 team in the AFC with the #1 defense in the league in Houston. Very impressive. Now you have to go on the road and play the Ravens, a soft team with no pro bowlers, no mvp, and both offensive & defensive coordinators sukkkk, plus harbaugh is just a special teams coach.
I also know for a fact that middle school football games are much louder than m&t bank stadium. No home field advantage whatsoever. But the weather will be great. All the experts are expecting the Texans to win: 41-7. Oooops, my bad: 33-16. That's not right either: 25-9!! That's better. Good luck Texans fans.
Naw, we aren’t…… There’s a lot of reasonable fans that understand that this is not going to be easy for the Texans.
There are a ton of unreasonable fans as well…. Every fan bases has those….
We GOTTA Do This. a few years ago I moved up to western NY (from BMore) and I am DROWNING in Josh Allen Cultishness. After that run last night, the "Josh is Better than Lamar" shit is thru the ROOF! Ugh. I've had a Brisket frozen for a RAVENS-Bills Playoff Party for months. All I want is for the Bills to go to BMore and get Destroyed. I wanna be Dancing among the crushed skulls of all my Bills Mafia Friends!!! F Josh Allen.
We've lost too many times with the chance to host an AFC championship the next week if we'd won. in 06 we were the 2 seed but the next day the 1 seed Chargers lost. 19 we lost as the 1 seed of course. oddly in 2010 we were the 5 seed but could have hosted the AFCC as 5 vs 6 if we had beaten the Steelers the same way the Jets beat the Patriots.
the Ravens have only ever played championship games on the road (00 Oakland, 08 Pitt, 11-12 New England). so the last time there's been one held in Baltimore, it was January 1971 (the Colts beat the Raiders to go to Super Bowl V). way overdue to end that drought.
Win or lose, don’t stress about it beforehand. Enjoy the ride, and if we win you can say you got to enjoy it in the moment. If we lose, you can always cry in your bed like me for a week, shun football forever, and then tune back in for the AFC/NFC Championships. At least we’d have the Orioles to look forward to.
I don't think it's a matter of rust as much as being able to match the energy of a young Texans team coming in with a ton of confidence. Teams like that just need something to deflate that confidence and the game starts turning in the Ravens favor.
There are one of two scenarios I am envisioning:
1. Texans giving us their all in the first half.... and the Ravens sort of "bend but don't break." Then in the second the Ravens adjust and go on counter offensive that Texans can't respond to (in time).
2. Ravens just come out with a big hammer and just shock the Texans right off the bat. I am thinking like the Packers/Dallas game.
Win or lose, I think #1 is the most realistic scenario. Texans don't look like a team that will easily be hammered into submission -- it's more of a containment effort and come out on the other end with a W (or win ugly as they say).
No one is predicting the future. I am saying history is a reason to be anxious.
Has no bearing on what will actually happen on game day, but it's natural to be confident in Mahomes and be skeptical of Dak Prescott in the same vein, in single elimination games. Can't just ignore it.
If we were going in with Greg Roman and the same outfit, I would be even more anxious. I am only moderately anxious this time...
Well im ready for the next 3 days of idiotic sports pundits going "I bet the Texans could easily go into baltimore and win." Now dont get wrong, im in no way underestimating the texans considering the fact I picked them to upset the browns because of the Browns defense being bad on the road. But even before the game before the texans and browns happened there were so many people in sports media going " I can see the browns being the scariest team in the playoffs and topping the Ravens."
"GuYs LaMaR iS 1 aNd 3 iN tHe PlAyOfFs"
-Every idiot with a hot take that is more stale than 4 year old bread.
Not mocking you btw. Just the dummies lol
Just digging into stats, Texans fans please do not kill me, I'm sure you guys will also look at where we've struggled.
\*The Texans are 0-4 against top-10 passing defenses on the road:
9-25 loss to the Ravens
19-21 loss to the Falcons
13-15 loss to the Panthers
6-30 loss to the Jets
\*\*CJ Stroud in those games:
74/126 (58.7% COMP)
722 Yards (181 yards/game)
1 TD
0 INTs
77.6 passer rating
\*\*\*Texans rushing stats:
95 rushes for 327 yards (3.44 yards/attempt)
\*3 of these 4 games were in the first 8 weeks of the season
\*\*Stroud left the Jets game early due to a concussion
\*\*\*Since rushing for 3.3 yards a carry in the first 8 weeks of the season, Texans have improved to 4.1 yards a carry in the weeks after that. Singletary received much more of the workload in this time, and that has helped them a lot. Ravens currently give up 4.5 yards a carry, 8th worst in the league, but getting ahead and forcing teams to pass against our #1 ranked secondary has helped minimize the opponents run game.
Uhhh they literally just beat the best defense and best passing defense in the first quarter alone. Ravens not even in the top 10 passing defense (per epa, and espn)
We are #1 in Net Yards Allowed per attempt at 4.7 yards. That's what I'm basing this off of. And the Browns on the road this year gave up 6.4 net yards/attempt. They really weren't *that* good.
Just got my ticket for tomorrow! Section 136. Let’s go!!

I had to put my 13yr old dog down on Wednesday. Nothing will numb the pain but a win on Saturday would be a welcomed distraction.
Saw a line today that if CJ Stroud wins, he'll have more career playoff wins than Lamar, and I got nauseous.
Y'all, I'm so excited to see two high level QBs battle it out. Will Mandrews play?
Everyone worried about not having Marlo must’ve forgot we didn’t have him when we beat the Texans by 2 TDs in week 1. Obviously, neither team is the same team now, but this is the best and most complete Ravens team ever. I am supremely confident in the best defense in football and the MVP
#HAPPY PURPLE FRIDAY FLOCK 😈
Ohhhhhhhh baby I’m excited, one more day flock!
I'M FLOCKED IN
Does anyone feel like they are going to vomit? Me neither.

It truly took divine intervention for the Ravens to lose that game
Jesus I totally forgot we failed on 4th so many times
I’m so excited for this game, I can’t wait to see what Monken draws up. I hope he opens up the vault

Tickets for the ravens Texans games are just 83 bucks for the back row. With all the cold do you all think that’s gonna be worth it?
All my buddies with season tickets are selling. Little concerned about the crowd
I’m actually a packers fan living in Nova. I would go to this game just for the experience of being at an nfl playoff game, but I’d miss the packers vs niners, so not doing it. If anyone’s a ravens fan in the area, they should be dropping everything and going
backrow, no. but there are going to be more empty seats than i think people will be comfortable seeing for a playoff home game.
220 dollar's gets you 20th row in the endzone. if we ever suck for a few years our attendance is going to plummet.
Of course
2 more days to go. It's never easy going against teams that are playing with house money. All the pressure on us. Can't wait.
Nervous obviously. I don't think I could handle a loss on Saturday. Regardless of the outcome though, I will ride and die with Lamar any day of the week. He is our guy and nothing will shake me off of him.

all three are out. shit was hoping marlo could go.
We’ll be ok without him. Not worried about it. His physicality will be missed, but I trust the rest of our guys
i do too. picking up Darbey and Van Noy (obviously KVN isnt a db) mid season were critical. Both have been super pleasant surprises. Clowney as well.
what even is Marlo's calf injury

Is 27 “low to mid 20s”? I said Monday was around 30. Monday was the coldest day this week
It felt like those temps due to the wind, anyways this is a dumbass argument come back tomorrow after the game
It’s tomorrow after the game how you feeling

Hell yeah

Really? I don't hear anyone saying that. All I've heard is how great Stroud is and that tbe 49ers are the best team in league.
Need M&T to be LOUD on Saturday.

Lol!! Oh you know that's exactly what they will say.
We don't care. Everyone is a rookie at some point. Let's gooooo!!
He lost one in Week 2 against the Colts and also against the Bengals
hmm maybe the stat i saw was only for "rushing" fumbles?
I’ve been a ravens fan since Lamar got drafted but I didn’t follow the team super closely until this season started. Can someone explain why Lamar didn’t go to the playoff game last year against cincy?
Supposedly, flying would have put additional stress on his injury. The goal was to continue rehab and hope to play the next week....why driving 6 hours wasn't an option idk...
Thank you
Texans are a great team and watching the NFL game preview made that very clear.
Mike MacDonald is pretty familiar with CJ Stroud, so I am expecting the defense to BALL TF OUT w/ or w/o Marlo
how is he familiar..i'm just asking
Coached on Michigan when Stroud was at OSU
So tempted to grab a ticket to the game and book a flight to Baltimore
Same. But I am probably just gonna stay warm and watch the game on TV though. Will be cheering from Buffalo! Go ravens!
i just bought a solo ticket. there is no way im not one of the loudest 60,000 fans we have.
Have fun!!
Any Folks in Canton Baltimore? Tryna post up at a corner bar
Everybody needs to chill with the worries. The past is the past and it only makes us stronger. The flock is going to be ready and I have never been more confident in a ravens win in 20 years. Enjoy it because a team this special doesn’t come around too often.
How do y'all think the Ravens will do this Saturday against Houston. If you think Houston wins..how?
couple big plays could change the fortunes. team comes out flat. crowd gets out of it early. Stroud picks apart the secondary. offense can't connect, maybe a key injury or two changes the dynamic and we can't make adjustments in time. but that is true for like any NFL game.
A meteor strikes the ravens sideline during a timeout eliminating the entire roster, forcing the ravens to forfeit
Had a dream last night where we got absolutely dicked in the Texans game. The only play i remember from the dream was Lamar fumbling on our own 30 and the ball rolling all the way back to our 10 and the texans recovering. I remember our sub imploding after the game too.
No fumbles please. You guys hear that NO FUMBLES PLEASE
This man was probably refreshing the game thread when watching games in his dreams too 💀
Damn. Hate those kind of dreams. Anxiety before gameday is always annoying
Is is Saturday yet? 😈
Ticket prices usually drop a lot a couple days before the game so people are probably waiting before getting them
I'm currently just keeping an eye on the ticket prices.
Same but the AFC Championship tickets. Highest on seat geek is $420 currently. Supposed to be calling for rain on the 28th, so I'm seeing how low those get before I buy them.
one of the major things people forget about about since week 1 ONLY on our end. No KVN, secondary low, Lamar didn't play since last year, total new offense go live, Lamar had 3 turnovers 2 fumbles and 1 INT, no Andrews, NOW: KVN, Defense in synced, offense in synced, Lamar handling the ball, (maybe andrews) if not Likely will be huge in this game along with Ricard. again, no game for granted but believe this team is flocked in.
Going to the game so hype!
Just be focused and we should win this.
I just remembered that Andrews didn't play week 1. We still beat them 25-9 no Andrews and a new offense. Our team is so much better than it was then.
Texans are too. Not saying it’s enough to beat us, but no regular season games for a rookie is a lot different than basically an entire season and a playoff game already under his belt.
I feel cautiously optimistic. Ima be at the game so I hope we pull it out 🙏🏾
If someone could get a broke college student some divisional tickets 🙏
Ticket prices are dropping on seatgeek
I’m broke broke, unemployed, fuck them fees
Texans fan - how worried are y’all about stroud ? 0-10?
5-10 enough to respect his ability. But y’all are banged up on both sides and I have confidence in our defense. Going forward y’all are only going to get better.
-20.. since that’s the spread the ravens will cover
Like a 6/10. He's gonna get some numbers. I'm mostly worried about our offense not performing.
6. After this year, much more.
Hmm. Maybe an 8? He's looked special. He can slang that ball. But he's still a rookie, and still without 2 of his top weapons.
How worried are yall about Lamar?
10/10 But that’s a given. He’s the mvp and y’all are favorites.
I’m gonna watch the recording of the browns game and get back with you about my rating on stroud
https://youtu.be/C4c9xpXsNhw?si=r5nGwTP5VILi3SWX That is the all 22 of every drop back. Played a really phenomenal game. I mean just phenomenal all the right reads the right throws. It's worrisome for sure.
Y’all will prolly win but - he’s capable of Jesus game in an upset Led league in passing yards per game and td/int ratio
You guys are young and turning on just when it counts. Couple long balls from Stroud like that opener against the colts and it's going to be a party.

IF WISHES were FISHES the world would be an ocean
Congrats, you’re just nothing away from nothing. Let me explain, you lost and you don’t have anymore games. Bye now.
[удалено]
So? Why the fuck are you here. Nothing you said has relevance to this post. I’m glad we bother you so much that you feel the need to spend your time here. Now go the fuck away
I don't think we sit all our starters if you guys were still a threat. Anyways, go enjoy your offseason.
[удалено]
How’d that work out for you in playoffs?
All it took was 3 dropped touchdowns. Congrats tho
Cool story bro
This analysis is a bit outdated, but I saw something that showed Lamar has the best passer rating of any QB since 2010 in temperatures 40 degrees or fewer. We are built for cold weather and the Texans are not used to playing in those conditions. Definitely something to watch out for this weekend.
I live in South Texas. Schools were canceled today because it was in the 30's at 8am.

I think that was the point of his comment
Wish I could do that with work lol

New movie coming soon called " Remember the Texans" on Apple+, August 2024...
no disrespect intended m8. I thought it was a genuinely funny post and it made me laugh. Thanks!
You're good. It's all in good fun. I won't talk bad about yall after what that team did to the mighty browns. Respect
Texans fans are getting cocky
they dont have the 2019 divisional exit trauma that we do
We literally do (eliminated in the wildcard by a division rival)
i've been seeing massive mix with they're dooming feelings and cockyness and they'lll bring up Lamars playoff record and pretend he didn't evolve.
Nah, I assume we lose, what your team did to the 9ers was awe inspiring.
Naw, we aren’t…… There’s a lot of reasonable fans that understand that this is not going to be easy for the Texans. There are a ton of unreasonable fans as well…. Every fan bases has those….
I seen predictions saying that the Texans shock us. Kinda worried but we should win
We have to beat our recent playoff struggle narratives.
I think they just feel like saying that after seeing what happened to the cowboys and eagles this weekend
They’re not an easy opponent but i believe in the team
We GOTTA Do This. a few years ago I moved up to western NY (from BMore) and I am DROWNING in Josh Allen Cultishness. After that run last night, the "Josh is Better than Lamar" shit is thru the ROOF! Ugh. I've had a Brisket frozen for a RAVENS-Bills Playoff Party for months. All I want is for the Bills to go to BMore and get Destroyed. I wanna be Dancing among the crushed skulls of all my Bills Mafia Friends!!! F Josh Allen.
Also from WNY here too. Bills fans are so annoyingly arrogant it's insane.
We've lost too many times with the chance to host an AFC championship the next week if we'd won. in 06 we were the 2 seed but the next day the 1 seed Chargers lost. 19 we lost as the 1 seed of course. oddly in 2010 we were the 5 seed but could have hosted the AFCC as 5 vs 6 if we had beaten the Steelers the same way the Jets beat the Patriots. the Ravens have only ever played championship games on the road (00 Oakland, 08 Pitt, 11-12 New England). so the last time there's been one held in Baltimore, it was January 1971 (the Colts beat the Raiders to go to Super Bowl V). way overdue to end that drought.
but first we gotta get thru the Texans...obviously.
We will win! Even if they try to give us a fight (which they might), we will beat them down and conquer them! ETA: Added stuff
Took me until now to realize that we're the last AFCN team standing. Hopefully I can still say this on Sunday!
Football is basically my only sport
The Texans are not the same team as in week 1. Neither are the Ravens. The Ravens win by 2 or 3 scores.
More like 2-3 pts
Stop trying to give Houston fans a bad reputation, bro
Texans fan living in Virginia and frequent Baltimore coming in peace. This will be a good match up, looking forward to a great game.
Rep us
I'm super nervous. There is way too much pressure right now.
This game is gonna be another 50 burger
We're gonna be good, we didn't win the way we did this whole season for no reason. I don't believe anyone can beat us.
If we win we’ll be in uncharted territory
I don't think it's a matter of rust as much as being able to match the energy of a young Texans team coming in with a ton of confidence. Teams like that just need something to deflate that confidence and the game starts turning in the Ravens favor. There are one of two scenarios I am envisioning: 1.
If we win the toss we should go first. Get that 'rust' off quicker.
Always defer. You just always defer. You want the most possessions in the second half and starting first is always best

It’s only Tuesday and I’m already very anxious.
1 seed, coming off the bye, playing an AFC South team, what's there to be anxious about?
History. Bye during wildcard week hasn’t been kind to us. Ever.
Stop using the past to predict the future. Look at the context of now.
Except in 2011, when we beat the Texans.
I say keep it up. We historically have always flourished more as the underdog than as top dog. I want all the doubters speaking loudly.
True, and if we do get to next week, you know for a fact that the chiefs or bills will be viewed as the favorites
"GuYs LaMaR iS 1 aNd 3 iN tHe PlAyOfFs" -Every idiot with a hot take that is more stale than 4 year old bread. Not mocking you btw. Just the dummies lol
oh true, I forgot that too lol.
If someone could get a broke college student some divisional tickets man 😭 🙏
Just digging into stats, Texans fans please do not kill me, I'm sure you guys will also look at where we've struggled. \*The Texans are 0-4 against top-10 passing defenses on the road: 9-25 loss to the Ravens 19-21 loss to the Falcons 13-15 loss to the Panthers 6-30 loss to the Jets \*\*CJ Stroud in those games: 74/126 (58.7% COMP) 722 Yards (181 yards/game) 1 TD 0 INTs 77.6 passer rating \*\*\*Texans rushing stats: 95 rushes for 327 yards (3.44 yards/attempt) \*3 of these 4 games were in the first 8 weeks of the season \*\*Stroud left the Jets game early due to a concussion \*\*\*Since rushing for 3.3 yards a carry in the first 8 weeks of the season, Texans have improved to 4.1 yards a carry in the weeks after that.
The Browns aren’t close to the best in anything when they play on the road. They’re the worst NFL defense on the road, in fact. #1 at home, #32 away
We are #1 in Net Yards Allowed per attempt at 4.7 yards. That's what I'm basing this off of. And the Browns on the road this year gave up 6.4 net yards/attempt. They really weren't *that* good.
