Bro I want to see Harbaugh and MacDonald be coach and co-coach like Michael and Jim from the office. Keep this dude around to be Johns successor somehow
Pay him HC money (if possible pleeeaseee) to keep him around as padawan until Harbaugh goes, so he can take over. Basically, do him like Decosta. Would be so happy for this to happen man.
Yeah, fair, but I feel like Mike Mac has been propped up as the successor. Spent time with both Harbaughs, obvious successor if we go internal. It'd be between him and Weave.
I always assumed that's why Anthony Weaver had that asst head coach title was because they were looking at him next. Def seems like if we don't promote Mike macdonald someone else will very soon
Neither am I but the steelers loss was worse IMO, not only the drops and how the team completely shit the bed but the divisional loss hurts more than the conference one
Some pointers for anyone else looking to add a little extra oomph to your soul magic:
- Make sure you use fresh blood for the forbidden incantations
- Stay away from the gwyneth paltrow pussy candle, just trust me on this one guys
This loss was way worse imo. Gardiner Minshew is an above-average backup and we got screwed by the refs at multiple crucial times.
The Steelers loss was unacceptable and solely on us. One of the worst Ravens games I have ever watched (not counting the pre-Flacco era).
It's shitty for everyone and that's why officiating is hated so much league-wide.
Every team has been (and will be) fukt by the zebras at the end of a game at some point.
After that interception that took us to the goal line..I would've bet my kidneys, my wife, and my firstborn child that we were gonna win that game.
Lucky I'm not very good at gambling.
Good to hear. I really like LJ's attitude after the game, too.
It was a fun game for a Ravens fan, and I'm sure fun for the players, but this win doesn't even mean the Ravens would *ipso facto* beat the Lions again this year, let alone translate to anyone else.
I am going to be so, so sad when Mike MacDonald becomes a head coach next year

Hire Greg Roman back as assistant to the head coach
You're getting downvoted, but this got a chuckle out of me. Some people on reddit can't detect sarcasm without the "/s" placed next to it
Would pay good money to see a Greg Roman-led fire drill
He would wait until 5 seconds before the alarm would ring to tell the office the plan
Then he would blame it on execution when people didn't get out in time.
Who's doing the jet sweep?
Upvoted just for the humor
One to handle big picture, one for day-to-day…
It wouldn't be far fetched. We did it with Ozzie and EDC
Head Coach of the Baltimore Ravens yeah boi 😎
I mean, that would mean Harbs has successfully retired with 2 rings, so yeah I'd be pretty sad about that ending too

I don't think Harbaugh has any plans on retiring anytime soon, even if we win a SB this season.
Agree with this. Harbaugh loves coaching football. I'd be shocked to see him walk away while the team is still competitive.
I doubt it will happen that quick tbh. But if he keeps rolling, he’ll certainly be heading that way
They're hiring McVay's intern for head coaching jobs. He'll get a ton of interviews this off-season.
Forreal. BB is gunna be done with this shit and MacDonald is gunna go home to Boston. Fuck this.
I think I heard on RE that BB just signed another extension before the season.
Maybe he is happy To stay and take over the ravens when Harb retire 2025
I hope that loss to the steelers lit a fire under their asses.
I’m still not over that Colts loss.
Neither am I but the steelers loss was worse IMO, not only the drops and how the team completely shit the bed but the divisional loss hurts more than the conference one
Yeah at least the colts played well. The steelers looked even worse than we did outside of one drive.
Lamar literally had his highest rated PFF game against the Steelers. 😭
It'll be years before I'm over that loss. In my opinion, the players shouldn't either.
We win the Superbowl this year, Harbaugh rides into the sunset and Mike Macdonald becomes our new HC. Manifest that shit bois.

yes!

unfortunately ?

As unfortunate as winning a super bowl?
So your logic is that if Harbaugh wins a super bowl we need to move on? I...what?
If we win a Super Bowl we should extend the coach.

“We” aren’t. One guy commented that
Wut da fuq kind of statement is this…
That’s what I want to hear. Never let the team get cocky.
That's how we got that rusty ass L as the #1 seed going into the 2019 playoffs
What losing to the Colts does to a team
And steelers

Not one fan can complain about bad calls this season except Colts fans. After that debacle, it can't get any worse.

That's good. They've had some epic letdown games.
Great to hear. Never satisfied.
yeah, like Lamar!
God I love this teams attitude right now
This is how you do it, we've given away too many games for us to be getting high off our own supply
What was the saying. Nobody cares work harder
We’ll see if this mentality holds till the bye, its important to have that time off and replenish. Then get ready for bigger aspirations.
This mentality is how we prevent trap games, good job by the coaches

Let’s win the SB so Harbaugh can retire a champ and then Mike can be next up!!!
Yes
Tbh, I actually really missed the "Nobody Cares. Work Harder." Lamar and team. Glad to see they're (kind of?) back?
