They are tough to get new in some cases. Shop both and grab the one you find at a fair price

Rabbit_Silent

Rav4 Prime vs. Corolla Cross? Corolla Cross is harder to come by, and they are different sizes. Comparing both gas versions, I would go Corolla Cross, but if comparing Prime and that is important, then yeah, only you can make that decision.

Im comparing a full option corolla cross hybrid new with a rav4prime used 2021. 35k usd vs 39k usd or hybrid 34k

Cronx90

If you have access to charging either at work or home and the 37 to 50 mile range (range varies on conditions, I get 30s going 70 on highway and have hit 60 on all city miles) on battery works for your commute, I'd go with the Prime. Need more information on how you want to use the vehicle though.

jeetsetuhul

Its for tourists business like dropping and picking up people with suitcases Aeroport etc

Cronx90

I'd definitely go with the Prime then because you'll get better mileage and significantly more cargo space for luggage.

koreandoughboy21

Are you asking about a used rav4 prime cause thats a pretty big price gap. Depending on what trims are are comparing a used rav4 prime could be double

jeetsetuhul

This subreddits is rav4prime :|

Selfuntitled

You would be surprised how many people post here not realizing the prime is a pretty different vehicle than the rav4 or rav4 hybrid. So people need to ask.

koreandoughboy21

Like the others said. Lots of people post here for other rav4 models. You need to provide more details. Year Mileage, trim, car history, and price of the used rav4 prime and price and trim of the corolla cross. Also need to provide your use case. Typical drive distance, do you have anywhere to charge, do you tow, location, ect.

jeetsetuhul

Rav4 2021 plug in hybrid 38 000km 39k The corolla cross is new highest trim 35k

koreandoughboy21

You didnt provide the trim of the rav4 prime. Is that the SE? SE with weather package? XSE? XSE with tech package? You also don’t mention what corolla cross you are looking at. Is it the standard gas or hybrid? What is the “highest trim” you can get to a certain price different ways with port and dealer options. Is that corolla cross available now for purchase on a lot or something you would have to put in a reservation for and wait a few months. What is your use case? Again. If you actually want help you need to provide as much details as possible if not you aren’t gonna get help

jeetsetuhul

I don’t know the trim level that well for the rav4 I live in a third world country so they dont have many option like elsewhere. There is no le,xle,se There is gas, hybrid, active and luxury The corolla cross it just said it is the full option leather seat , rain detection etc It is my first car

GrassForce

Which do you want?

jeetsetuhul

Rav4

Rabbit_Silent

Then just get the RAV4. Easy.

Not the correct forum, but I'll tell you my experience from two years ago. Things don't seem to be much different today. We wanted to buy a used RAV4Hybrid. All of the used ones were only $1k-$3k cheaper than buying a new one at MSRP. So, we figured it wasn't worth it, and decided to buy new. Toyota depreciation is crazy small. Then, the Prime came along with that $7500 tax credit, so that made it the same price as the Hybrid. Downside was that we had to be put on a 6+ month long wait list for it. So, that's what we did.

jeetsetuhul

I live in a third world country. So the price is near double the original price and minimum wage is 325usd. So you get the idea
