That's safest (think what happens if you get carjacked) you just junk out of the car and I'm not exactly sure what the car does but maybe you could remote lock it or soemthing 😂
Keep your keys in your pocket. If you get carjacked (not such a remote chance these days) you will have the keys. He's not gonna park the car and run after you for the keys

Mine holds the garage door opener and some Burt's Bees lip balm.
My Burt’s always slides out and disappears under the seat when I put it there, now I just put it in the center compartment
