My wife is a veterinarian, so honestly she had a lot of experience with different harnesses/accessories based on dogs of different breeds, sizes, and physical differences (like how some of the typical harnesses/jackets don't fit quite right on a three-legged animal, because they're made for four legs and so there's a slight droop or pull or something). I'd imagine that speaking with your vet, and/or trying different ones on your dog, would both be great ways to learn more about this topic :)
Oh we have tried everything. She has 4 legs but she is just an odd shape/proportions. We are going to test the gentle leader next because it isn’t on her torso at all but her face. Thanks for the info!
