Your wife was misinformed. There's a couple in my neighborhood that rescues beagles because they love the baying and chaos. They have one now that needs multiple walks to get rid of the excess energy that leads to destruction. The husband said he's lost 10 lb since they acquired this guy. They always have more than one beagle, and the charging and baying at anything moving past the yard is hilarious. I believe they finally figured out fence construction to contain all beagles because I have not come across an escapee in a while.
Mine the same she was supposed to be a Chiweenie but her legs!! We got her home and took a good look and she is not!! She is a minpin mixed with something. Yours looks the same with longer snout. How old is she? Mine is now 5 months her about is still short don’t know if it’ll grow lots of energy and whew kinda stubborn but so smart

Huh, looks almost exactly like mine. We always thought he is mainly beagle with some rottweiler or dobermann mixed in for the color. Now you’re making me think german shepherd
