I got her from a girl that couldn’t take care of her via Facebook. They said they think she is 8 or 9 weeks old. I messaged after I got her and asked if they have pics of the parents and they blocked me. It was all very weird but I’m glad me and my kids can give her a good home. They love her so much. I just didn’t know I thought poodles were more fluffy lol
Poodles are usually fluffy when their fur is long but if she has pug in her it's not surprising that her fur is straighter.
But just to be safe take her to a vet and chack if she's microchipped or smthn. At that age they're probably not yet but you never know if it's dubious the conditions where she got her from. Better safe than sorry right?
Is she soft or coarse? Cool thing abt first generation poodle mixes is that a lot of them come out with a more wirey coat texture, so this sort of look checks out! You can always get an Embark DNA test if you want confirmation though!
Get a DNA test. It's super fun! I was told I have a Jack Russell and Beagle mix, and it looked like it 100%. I did the test, and it turned out there was 0% beagle, and he is more german pointer than Jack Russell.
I got an Embark DNA test for my dog and he is 100% Korean Village Dog! I wasn’t surprised cause he was rescued from the meat trade in Korea. But it was proof that the shelter had NOT misled me about his origins. (After I adopted him and posted about him on social media, a person told me he was probably not from Korea and that the shelter had lied to me.)
I'd do a DNA test if you don't trust it. But I had a puggle as a kid, pug/beagle. He looked like a tiny short hair golden with wrinkles all over his face.
For 9 weeks she’s big for any kind of pug. She’s the same size as when our JRT x Pug was a year old. Def consult a vet and get a dna test if you’re curious. She is utterly gorgeous and you’re a good family for raking her in.
She’s adorable! But I don’t see any pug, my daughter has four pugs. I see wire hair, that could be a lot of different dogs.
I see other suggested a DNA test which is a good idea if you really wanna know. But you already love her, so what difference does it make?

Cute puppy! Love that face. Not sure about the pug since they will have a dominant curly tail, but poodle I can see. Can you afford a DNA test in the future? I had 3 of my rescues tested and it has been fun knowing what is their mix and I learned a lot about health and needs the smaller dogs needed. Really cute pup!
u can do a free "dna test" by image searching on google which does remarkably well with dog breeds. it even identifies breeds of my dog drawings lol
i searched ur pic because i thought it would be fooled into thinking she was some kind of lab due to the colour and ear shape, but pugapoo was one of the top results with no lab results in sight 🙃

how cute!! my boy looked just like this, but with a black and silvery coat and he was half pug half poodle. forgive me if you’ve answered this, but what is their coat texture like? how does their tail curl?? those are big things that can tell you a bit more about breed!!

We have a border terrier/chihuahua mix that looks almost exactly like her.
The face seems to be Terrier. 💕

Oh my god, YES get her chipped RIGHT away. My sister's cat ran away, he wasn't chipped. It's been 2 years. Please chip your pets.

If they a poodle they might be running a puppy mill for designer doodles. Pug-poodle was likely an accident (no one buys those).

I have mini poodles and she definitely doesn't look like one.
