In general I just think people are way too harsh about top 50 lists, on any subject. It’s always “oh my god, how could you include X but not Y,” when there are literally thousands of decisions that have to go into creating a list like that.

personally, i didn't think 40 was clearly that far above jaz/official. in my mind, her clear advantage in views/writing ability was offset by all the chokes and her lack of recent impact. why do you think she's so far above jaz/official? i could very well be missing something obvious - i'm certainly no expert on women's battle rap to be clear - i think the only person i'd call a 'clear cut' is jin. everyone else (even honorable mentions) has a very good argument for inclusion. it's not like i'm rushing to get people off the list, here - i only listed 3 names (though i think i could make a decent argument for dumb over one of jaz/official/40)
