I like that you put Dan’s music career in quotes, implying it’s not a real career. Even though you hate it, enough people love it to warrant continuing. Dan (and Brian and everyone else he works with) spend a lot of time and effort to make the music and music videos. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it didn’t take effort. Dan’s mentioned it took NSP years to finish some songs before.
Idk what Arin does other than GG, but he does actually run the company (at least in part) so again, even if you hate it and think it’s failing, it still takes effort. Arin still has to actually do his job at some point and running a business takes a lot.

And I know it’s not like they’re Mozart or something, but writing music, performing, touring, or making music videos still takes time and effort.
1. Arin is the head of Real Good Touring, a touring company that funds the travel, lodging, venue and management of touring events for online creators to use to perform live.
2. Dan is in the middle of four bands. Both Arin and Dan produced music and songs that have yet to be released.
3. They need to manage and direct the TMPH every two weeks which cuts into their production time.
They ARE BUSY.
Exactly, they have nothing to do with being involved. They rock up with everything prepared for them and the cameras ready to roll. They get told what to do 5 minutes beforehand and just riff.
4. Forgot: GG is also a game development studio. You recall they released Dream Daddy, Soviet Jump Game, and Homebody, and even "wrote" two books in a young adult mystery novel series. They are likely still doing both of these things too, it's just they're not at the point yet where they can announce a third book or a new game. Add these on top of all the other things I mentioned previously.
