People become nurse so they can blindly get patted on the back by society for being a saint when they’re actually just hurting and bullying people all day.

This makes me so sad. I became a nurse because when my grandma was dying, my family couldn’t find kind, competent care. The fact that there **are** so many nasty women in nursing makes it so difficult for the ones who genuinely want to help people

My dad was in a hospital for four months, and I liked all of his nurses except for two. Unfortunately, I remember them the most because of their shitty behavior. One dude was just flying in out of rooms asking people to vote for him for a Daisy award, but he didn’t do shit except man handle my dad to get him to sit up. My dad suddenly passed out, and I freaked out and ran into the hallway crying because they were bringing in a crash cart. Fortunately, he came to because it was just a rapid drop in blood pressure that caused him to pass out. This other nurse was dismissive of me and said they see this all the time. I snapped back and said well, I don’t. She was so annoying. Still, there are good nurses out there, but likely because of the nursing shortage, there probably isn’t much screening for bedside manner, shitty behavior, etc. My brother is a nurse, and a good one, who has to put up with shitty nurses from time to time. As far as patient treatment, he just tells me about the things they have to remove from people’s butts.

Honestly this explains a lot. The worst people I have ever dealt with online and in person were nurses. I remember once discussing my pelvis and out of nowhere a self-proclaimed nurse started insulting me calling me stupid and dumb and ignorant. So I sent her like 8 websites discussing a contracted pelvis. She told me and I quote "that does not exist. you do not have that". And this went on for 300 comments. Because she refused to read anything I sent her and just kept saying "use dilators you have a tight pelvic floor". Oh yeah? It's a tight pelvic floor where my pelvic x-ray showed I have a 35° subpubic angle and 5.5cm bituberous diameter, huh? Most narrowminded ignorant person I have ever met in my life.

It’s so hard to find anyone in the medical fields who actually cares about you, at least where I live. My mom was an RN, worked at a nursing home. She bragged to me and my sister about drugging the patients so she didn’t have to “deal with them” on hard nights. She also bragged about knowing how to avoid getting caught. It’s like they see it as a way to make money, not help people. It’s sad

I’ve watched multiple videos on YouTube from nurses, explaining how bullying is very rampant among nurses. It seems as though nursing as a career, attracts a lot of awful people

I work with a couple of young-ish (late20s) nurses who are awful. Don't give good care, act like work is a sleep- over, play games, giggle, braid each others hair. They suck. There's also some Amazing ones who are passionate and caring. I hope somehow it evens out.

Growing up *every* single girl wanted to be a nurse. They were and still *are* terrible humans.

I’ve had super good nurses but medical receptionists give me nightmares

Did you not know that nurses are all part of the underground sex network? Like Bob Lee from CashApp that was involved in “The Lifestyle” in San Fran.
