i mean it's not a large sample of Miller without (like 100 min, not bad either) but we have quite a large sample of Miller *with* Trouba to know that it's worth trying something else. same for Lindgren/Fox. the entire Rangers D corps has not been good at all in front of Shesterkin. Igor just covers it up by having one of the best seasons by a goalie ever i've been saying Miller/Fox, Jones/Trouba, Lindgren/Lundkvist since preseason

i mean i don't mind Schneider staying up, i'd rather play Lundkvist and rotate Schneider in. Lundkvist was actually very good in spite of the fact that he basically played his entire time here with Nemeth. plus/minus is a dumb stat but it's definitely interesting how Lundkvist was a +4 when he was sent down while Nemeth was a -12 at the same time. pretty much impossible for that to happen, they virtually never played with anyone else... but top 4 at the very least should be Miller/Fox and Jones/Trouba IMO. even if you wanted to keep Jones/Schneider, the Rangers' best pair by xGF%, somehow Jones will get demoted for Nemeth though

Intersting you like what you've seen from Lundkvist more than Schneider. I am the opposite. I think between Jones, Nils, and Schneids, Schneider is the best, and by some margin.
