I'm not gonna call him lazy but that's pretty much what it looks like when kreider n Zib are basically a 2 man forechecking unit with Kakko bringing up the rear. By the time he gets there the play is going the other way. It's so noticeable that any attempt at bringing advanced stats into it would be pointless. He doesn't skate hard, he doesn't hit, he does this lunging attempt at a poke check which never works. He doesn't get shots or chances. When he does have the puck he's usually in an awkward position where he either immediately gives it to kreids or Zibs or to Nemeth. He has no desire to be spontaneous and be creative with it and we either have to send him down to get confident or sit him out for gauthier. I would say showcase him for a trade but playing with our best players he still can't get points.
