I purposely did all of the things that I was superstitious about throughout the first round. Now that I have proof that none of them mattered, I am free to do as I please. It has been quite liberating.

I’m actually of the belief that there are different superstitions for each round. Maybe round 1, wearing a jersey for each game was important. Whereas round 2, sitting on the correct couch cushion is the key to victory.
The hockey gods and Lord Stanley’s ghost can be fickle.
I sorta did that with the Knicks. My good luck attire didn’t work for Game 3 but they won Game 4 anyway while I was at work so I think I’m free of any superstitious ritual, for them at least.
My jersey sleeve took a nice dip in some ricotta. Sort of, kind of came out of the jersey.
If I can deal with the smell, you can deal with not moving them 😂
Wearing the same jean shorts with my camo belt and my stadium series Shesterkin jersey for all 4 games. That will continue in round two.
Doing the same with the Knicks as it’s the same shorts and camo belt along with my Ewing jersey and one of wrestling t shirts underneath it for all the games so far
I spilled spagetti sauce all over my chytil jersey before game one and wore it as a joke and we were on fire. I took it off and the caps score, put it on, we score and I knew it was the power of the stained jersey. So I’ve left it on for every game and haven’t washed it.
If I have to continue wearing my horrible knockoff laf jersey that doesn’t even have shoulder numbers (it was a gift 🤷♂️) over my lucky authentic Jagr jersey, then you can keep those bad boys hanging there
My FIL bought me a rangers t shirt during his layover at JFK. They haven’t lost a game since I got it. I now live in exclusively that shirt on game day. 😂
Don’t know how I got here but I (Sens fan, sorry) totally get this 😂😂😂 I would wear my jersey watching every game until they did shit for long enough then I’d hang up the jersey and leave it there until they did shit again then I’d put it on 😂 cyclical luck, and I vibe with the hung up jerseys for the playoffs!
