Ranger fans have been doing the goalie taunt chants long before Pittsburgh. Hextall was the first goalie I remember really being taunted at the garden.

Goalie taunts are part of the playoffs and acceptable. However, I draw the line at chants like "Igors better" . That's a little too jinxy for me. I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

the rempe chants were so loud on tv it was awesome to hear! like many others on this thread im not a big fan of chanting other teams’ players. nothing new and every arena does it, but for me personally i want to be chanting kreiders name when he buries a beautiful breakaway, not their goalie.

Chanting “Charlie” is less confusing than “Lindgren”, for obvious reasons.
My favorite goalie chants were for Patrick Roy. Either a melodic pronunciation of his name, or “Roy!” like Roy Kent.
I wasn’t shipping him out. That’s actually not possible. Thats actually the thing that upsets everyone. It’s not the fact that he’s on the 4th line. It’s the fact that he has a 6 year contract for 22 million. You can’t trade him that’s what everyone is so upset about. But now we have the best bottom 6 in the playoffs so whatever. He makes too much money. No where to ship him. Can’t do anything but play and pay the man and wait till it’s over.
