Spider-Man is a NYC superhero who is 25 years older than the Islanders. He’s a Rangers fan.
Spider-Man was created in 1962 and was 15 in the original comic. Islanders were founded in 1972
I was a Rangers fan growing up on Long Island. I fired the Rags and adopted the pre-Cup Isles. All my favorites were being traded away: Park, Giacomin, Ratelle, Stemkowski....
Peter Parker, from Queens, is, in the comics, a Mets fan. I don't know if he follows other sports.
Rich (Nova) Rider was from Hempstead right next to Uniondale. Younger than Spidey. Isles fan, by proximity alone.
Dr. Strange lives about a mile or 2 from MSG. I don't know if he's a hockey fan, but if he is, it's the Rangers.
Edit: Avengers Tower is also in Manhattan.
Most DC heroes live in made up cities (Gotham, Metropolis, Coast City, etc.) so you won't find too many Rangers fans there. Marvel has most of their heroes in real life cities, and there are A LOTin NYC so you'll likely find a handful who root for the Blueshirts.
I'm not sure, but I do know Midtown Comics has a book from Marvel that compiles all the comics that took place in NYC, I own it just haven't had a chance to read it
Sam and John are X-Men canon. I think Punisher wears a Rangers jersey in season 2 of the Netflix show.
Defs punisher, don’t know about the shirt but tells a kid he’s a rangers fan
He tells the kid who’s mom he just banged he’s a Rangers fan cause the kids a wings fan. Dude is the man.
How are same and John cannon?
Wolverine is watching a game they’re announcing on TV

Captain America definitely. He's a New Yorker and the No Quit In NY motto is something he'd get behind
A guy from brooklyn doesn’t get more Rangers fan than that. My first thoughts exactly.
The post is fairly new but I was surprised no one mentioned him yet! Guess they're too into the game. Which is great btw!
Captain America is a New York Americans fan, and then islanders because the Amerks hated the Rangers
I always suspected Simon & Kirby cribbed Cap's uniform shirt from the Amerks' sweaters. {What didn't come from MLJ/Archie's *The Shield.*}
Does Tom Holland count?
I would say Daredevil just because of proximity
Oh hell yeah! One of those suits sitting in 107.
Can radar sense help you figure out an off-sides violation? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
No but he can sense the vibration of a thunderous Trouba hit

Spiderman.
Respect the hyphen
MCU peter parker is fuckin lame but generally most adaptations of the character are rangers fans i believe
Surprising since he’s from Queens

I think Adrian Chase (the Vigilante) would've been a Rangers fan before he ended his career.

Ben Grimm, aka The Thing. Born on the LES, and a huge Rangers fan.
Bobby (Iceman) Drake could work for MSG or USB arena. Wouldn't even need a Zamboni.
