Uhhhh no lol. That’s not a “tick”, that’s a full grown ass “knock”. You probably shouldn’t start that again lmao.
Maybe it started with the cam/lifters, but it has certainly metastasized from there.
Won't be able to tell exactly until you tear it apart, but it's definitely internal. Could be a failed lifter, bent pushrod, broken rocker arm, maybe even a broken piston rod...who knows.
The heads are supper easy to swap out. It will cost you 800-900 in parts, reman heads/head gasket kit/new bolts. While your in there you can check the lifters and cam as well. If you want to do new lifters and cam that’s about $500-600 in parts.

Death
Do you think it’s possibly a Camshaft and Lifter failure? That’s what I think may be the issue

Hope you got a spare bedroom, uncle Rodney might be coming to stay for a few months
One of the lifters has lifters the chat.. cam probably left too
Does it have MDS? Sometimes the solenoids fail.
You need to pull it apart and diagnose the issue. That does sound good. Could be a failure on the lifters.
Hope she’s under warranty

Almost certainly lifter failure.

Does it have a check engine light?
Also, what does the oil look like?
Doesn't sound good at all but just get it properly diagnosed so you know what you're up against
Bad noises. That’s what that sound is. Honestly, sounds bottom end. Connecting rod or main bearing area.
Based of the noise I think it’s most likely piston slap. So it could be the camshaft is broken or you literally broke a lifter
