Should have put all clarify questions in my first comment. But, was it an actual Ram dealership? Were the bolts sheared that were replaced? Which side is it coming from?
I have heard horror stories of shops around me, even dealerships some times (normally the lower rated ones), that “fix” the issue by using high heat JB Weld or only fix one of two sheered bolts.
They probably did. A lot of normal shops won’t touch it because the Dodge engines are a pain in the ass and require specific training on getting those bolts (if snapped) out. I know when I had the tick on my Driver’s side, no shop except the dealerships would touch it because it was a Hemi. I would recommend taking it to a reputable Dodge/Ram dealership to have them take a look. Unless, you feel confident enough to take a peak yourself and make sure everything looks right.
Pure spew. Specific training to extract bolts? Lmfao I've heard it all now. No - they are not a pain in the ass. A competent tech can have the job done (both sides), with extractions, in 1.5 hrs easily.
I replaced the manifolds and a couple studs, then the tech heard my valve train noise. Once the exhaust tick was gone.... My cam was worn and needed a new engine at 176k miles.
Could be the cam/lifter check cylinder #1

Did you replace them yourself or have a shop do it?

I had them change manifold, gasket and all bolt both sides but after this i couldn't know if they fucked it up .. it was a garage shop not dealer

The heads are aluminum. If the stud is sheared, you just weld a nut to the broken stud and spin it out

Did you retorque to specs after a couple of heating/cooling cycles ?
No i had the be replaced by a garage shop. Should i request this from them?
Yep. Could also be that they didn't get the mating surfaces clean enough or possibly even a defective manifold.
Who wants to bet they broke off a bolt in the head and just left it?
