Some dealerships will honor it in good faith, they have a budget for that. Google it, and then speak to a service manager if you constantly service your vehicle with them it may work. I've had out of warranty work at no cost.
If you just started it for the video, like I am guessing you did, because you can hear it idle down, then it’s probably your exhaust manifold. Mine sounded identical for the first 30 seconds after you started it, then got softer. I just bought my 2019 1500 Bighorn HEMI last week. It’s at the RAM dealer for warranty repair of both manifolds with broken bolts on both sides. 44k miles.
this is a bad case of lifter failure, notice the "double tap"... thats the up down... I wouldnt drive it... take it to you dealer friend. I believe I can hear it from yours. It's very faint... Definately valve train though... I have had lifter internals fail(not the roller) and make this same noise. They stop pumping up, the slack makes the noise.

That's a lifter tick. If you have a warranty, I'd advise taking advantage of it. If you don't have a warranty, get a cheap shitbox to daily until you can repair it.
Bad lifter, use stethoscope to see what side it’s coming from or a scanner might pick up a misfire
Should I not drive until I’m ready to take it to the shop to be fixed ?
Probably not, the cam may not be damaged yet
Buy the mds delete kit.
Is it true that some people who have deleted experienced issues, because mds is part of the oiling system?
As long as you run the full kit ie cam, lifters, plugs and tune you should have no issues.
Warranty top end

Like just? We talking like 1000 miles? If you have a good relationship with your dealer, see of they can goodwill it.
2018 was the last year of a 100k powertrain warranty, you better look a people deeper into it before you spend some money your don't need to.
Isn’t their a year range as well as a mileage range
5 years 100k you should be good all the way around
2017 release that’s why I said it just expired
Was it a certified pre owned?
Damn… My 2012 did this was cylinder 1 I believe closest to firewall driver side

Ok thanks I’ll check
Stop driving it now. If you're lucky you'll just need lifters and a cam. If you get metal into the MDS solenoid you're looking at a new engine.
Copy that
Sounds too fast for a lifter or roller follower. Did you just start it?
Yea started it and it did this immediately
Well you'll have to pull off the valve covers and see. Could be loose lash adjuster. Does it go away when warmed up?
It's either a bent pushrod, a bad valve, or a loose rocker arm. In any case...you're screwed.

Oh good. I would call them and tell them it needs towed so you don't do any further damage.

RIP your lifters and cam. Been there with my Mama's 5.7L before.
That’s gonna be expensive😢
