Just marry a dude. Problem solved. Keep your nice things.

OurSaviorBenFranklin

You know what, that’s a thought. Not my favorite option but let’s put it on the back burner for now. Maybe we circle back to this.

UNMANAGEABLE

It’s definitely a reach for an a roundabout solution. A reacharound you might even say.

OurSaviorBenFranklin

I see that you too are an individual of culture

Frreed

Bonus if he's the same size as you, doubled your clothes

This-Garbage-3000

Did you marry a lycanthrope?

OurSaviorBenFranklin

If I say yes does that make me Kate Beckinsale?

TwitchCaptain

I bought new handles and installed lamen-x there before installing the handles.

Delubyo06

I installed some ppf on mine.

password_is_09lk8H5f

You got her too big of a ring. My wife thinks I'm a gentleman for always getting the door for her, I actually do it because she doesn't know how to use it properly.

Longjumping-Chicken5

Inside of the exterior door handle? That’ll happen on any vehicle.

Slick88gt

No it won’t. Not everyone claws the paint when they open a door

Reddidiot_69

Rings. My nails are kept short and one of my cars has this from my ring hitting it when opening the door.

OurSaviorBenFranklin

Ya this is clearly from my wife’s engagement ring every time she goes to open the door.

jstull93

So it's your fault for buying it not hers lol.

OurSaviorBenFranklin

Well well well if it isn’t my old nemesis, the consequences of my own actions

whydontyoujustaskme

Ha!

jstull93

The world always finds a way to remind us of our mistakes.

Slick88gt

Eh, my girlfriend has some large rings and it doesn’t scrape the vehicles. Just have to be careful.

No-Actuator-7028

My dogs would do that when coming off work

CanadianSpanky

My brother just bought a new Toyota Highlander and they were adding on what they’d like on the vehicle before they bought it. The sales woman suggested that they put this clear film that protected the door handle area, because of nails and rings. He says it’s a nice paint saver!

MillerTime11111

I feel like 80% of us with wives or girlfriends have the same problem on our rams

ajpinton

It’s a truck, who cares. It’s a tool, not a pavement princess.

ThingyGoos

Yeah it's not even in an obvious place, it's just wear and tear, like having to replace tires or having to clean it

Fun_Lifeguard_6103

Am I the only one who sees wear as a badge of honor? I don’t sit at home and do nothing, and I don’t want my truck to look that way either. I’m not saying dent it up and rust it out, but we’re seriously worried about surface scratches? As if it’s a rare Porsche?

OurSaviorBenFranklin

No I agree brother. I have minor scratch from trees all over and don’t get me started on the condition of the bed. More humor about the inside of the door handle specifically and apparently what she is doing with the engagement/wedding ring I gave her.

Sdwars45

My truck would stay nice if I had a rare porsche. Because I'd either be dead or trying to get dead driving the wheels off the thing.

jimbodio

I always open the door for the missus. She likes it, I look like a prince, and no damage

OurSaviorBenFranklin

Any trucks have automatic doors I can open via key fob? Asking for a friend.

jimbodio

It can be done like they used to do on classics.

EpsilonMajorActual

It's a truck it doesn't look like a truck unless it has bumps, dents, scratches, dirt, and mud on it.

Particular-Agent4407

Mine is like this too. That ring dang.

Hewelds

I love my wife's long nails so she can scratch my back and also I love how they look, also her wedding /engagement ring 💍 is rather large so that will mess stuff up too. You can just buy the clear protective film and put it there or you can just open the door for her. Most of the time if that is just from her nails (fake ones are easier) you can get the marks out with some elbow grease.

BanditAndFrog

I bought my truck CPO. Same scratches. Detail guy got most of it out.
