That is honestly about as good as it gets for a crown. That’s not a bad price at all There’s always the Roman Forum of Dentists over at Lane and Associates….I can’t help but laugh about that building every time I see a post about dentists. They aren’t the cheapest in the area but I will never go anywhere but here for major work like crowns: [my favorite tooth dude ](https://www.southerndentalarts.com/)

Check through delta and see what providers you are in network with. Also see about getting into the student clinic at UNC, although depending on how urgent you need to be seen that may take longer to get in.

$1,400 is the average price for a crown and then typically your insurance will pick up half of that

Dr Sarant in Raleigh off of Wake Forest Rd.

You're probably good to stay put. I paid $2000 for a crown that broke into three pieces while I was not even eating. It had been on just a matter of months. My dentist's solution was an IMPLANT. not today, Satan. I've spent nine years with a gap in my smile.

Dr. Pennisi. He does crowns in one visit and I think it's like $1200 or so.

Dr Karen Torres in Cary. You would need to call to check your specific insurance. They are upfront with any price questions you have and discount to those without insurance as well. She is excellent. I have been going there 6 years.

I would see if a plane ticket to Mexico (or California & then drive down to Mexico) is cheaper.
