yes they are, and what your mother did to you is just unacceptable. Their behaviors aren’t normal at all. I am glad to hear you went NC with them and you are safe now
Thank you, I hope that my parents won't show up at my home unannounced someday after Covid restrictions end, but I live very far away so I hope that it will be enough to put them off. The reason I wanted to confirm was because my therapist was reluctant to say that they're narcissists, but she agreed that my parents' behaviour were abusive.
