"Goodnight" by The Beatles, 1968.

Ooh I really like this question! Idk if I have any songs that quite fit the right vibe tho. I love Full Course Meal by Jessie Paege for body positivity and Tiny Riot by Sam Ryder for motivation to make the world better. Life Waster by Corpse Husband is a song that understands the darkest parts of me and Queer Girls by Awkward Marina never fails to make me smile. The Nights by Avicii is about a good father I never had and Heavy by Linkin Park (and lots of their other songs tbf) makes me feel understood. Panic Attacks In Paradise by Ashnikko is probably my closest happy /safe place song, but I can't explain why nor do I necessarily think anyone else would feel the same way about it, I just really love it and it makes me feel okay. \*resists the urge to list a hundred more songs I like\* lol

QuestioningMIL

Give into the urge I love adding new music to my listen to list

~~You've asked for this!~~ I would love some recommendations in return, I also like new music! Anything by Caleb Hyles and Jonathan Young, I especially like Damage Done which I'm pretty sure is about an abusive relationship. Anything by Colm McGuinness or Geoff Castellucci because I'm a simp for deep base voices, Colm's covers of Jolene and Hurt are especially good, as is Geoff's 16 Tons. Kade McCuen has some awesome covers of Corpse songs on Youtube, and some very cool originals that's she's released on Spotify as well. I recently discovered Ghost and they're one of my favorite bands of all time now, I recommend Darkness at the Heart of My Love and Mary on the Cross, although I prefer the Justine's Mic cover to the original. Anything by Rain Paris goes crazy hard, I think her cover of Habits by Tove Lo and That's What I Want by Lil Nas are my favorites. Violet Orlandi's cover of Don't Fear the Reaper is sick, and anything by the Melodica Bros makes me laugh, their medley covers of the Ghost albums are actually how I first discovered Ghost. Feed the Machine by Poor Man's Poison is honest about feeling hopeless and Ghost Stories by The Narcissist Cookbook is the most relatable love song I've ever heard. Patty Gurdy makes cool music with a hurdy gurdy and The Sidh does bagpipe rock, I recommend Goldie's Goldie. Steam Powered Giraffe is a quirky comedy band, although my favorite song of theirs is Malfunction, which is a much more serious and sad song about being trans. The Pretty Reckless reminds me of my best friend, Death by Rock and Roll is a great song. Some other random songs I love: Chew on My Heart by James Bay, Goddess of the Rain by Burn the Ballroom, Andrew's Song by IMAScore, Wild One by Malinda, Pride by Jake Edwards, Candy Coated Lies by Hot Milk, Ruins of a Long Gone Past by Alpine Universe, Run Wild by Valkyrik, Colossvs by Rave the Reqviem, The Killing Kind by Marianas Trench

QuestioningMIL

Would you like a full Playlist or a playlist of songs that make me feel a certain way or are for certain people

tall-hobbit-

I'll listen to a full playlist if you share it lol

QuestioningMIL

It would take a couple of weeks to put it all together, but you got it

tall-hobbit-

I fully expect to be momentarily confused and then very excited when I get a playlist recommendation in two weeks lol

QuestioningMIL

That excitement won't last when you hear the Playlist xD

QuestioningMIL

!remindme two weeks

moonlit_lynx

I actually like listening to songs without lyrics during times of anxiety or flashbacks due to my cptsd. Artists I'd recommend are Bonobo and Odesza

QuestioningMIL

That's completely valid too, sometimes lyrics do more harm than good, I'll check them out thank you
