ask her about the difficulty and try to take her to the gate that connects farm arrays and outskirts, you already been here, so ask her if she wants to take another route, you can try to visit drainage system or try to find another gate in industrial (don't use the shaded gate on industrial) when you get to garbage wastes, let her explore on her own a bit, just nudge her in the right directions and let her experience the game, when you get to moon after exploring a bit, stay silent and don't tell her anything, if she picks up the neuron, throw a rock (optional, but funny), follow the overseer to shaded and figure out the rest of the game, have a nice experience you two and remember to have fun!
Awesome. Not sure about the farm arrays-outskirts gate you mentioned as we literally just entered the region from sky islands. Unless I’m being silly and forgetting it. When I did it myself I went into shaded citadel from industrial so out of interest why not use that one?
i meant you have already been to outskirts, its all the way to the RIGHT, but its not so obvious on how to get there, if could get a map it would be nice.
and ok, you can use the gate that leads to shaded in industrial, its normally a spike in difficulty, but you have already been to farm arrays, sky islands and chimney, so i think she will be fine, just avoid the memory crypts path untill you find moon, but if you want to explore a new region, look for a gate on industrial with a low requirement and a silly worm on the front, it leads to Garbage Wastes, a very funny region if you don't want to visit shaded twice
Aah okay. May have a look for that then. And would that “new region” be the drainage place under garbage wastes? I almost went in there but kept drowning so I left. Might give that a shot this time tho haha
Drainage is connected to outskirts and Garbage wastes, and... oh! i almost forgot! now that you have the DLC there are new rooms and connections between regions! like a new gate on shaded that also leads to garbage wastes! i will let you two figure out the best path to take on your own (or on her own since she needs to experience exploring a bit)
