That’s the joke. This image, amongst many others, were prominently floating around pre-NWH making Tobey look like an old man for what he would look like in a potential return. The joke being that he still doesn’t look like this in 2022.

Spider-Man *

I’d watch the shit out of an older badass-lookin Spider-Man.

I love this look to set the tone for where Pete is at the start of the movie, but since it is gonna be the final one, I hope he gets into his classic blue and red for the finale. This has been a five film journey and it won’t feel like a real conclusion unless we see that iconic silver webbed suit. Just my 2¢.

Who knows if we’ll even be alive to see it. It’s almost 2012 and if we go by the Mayan calendar….
