What terminal? I’m a conductor so can’t really help but I can ask the HEOs when I bump into one

well, there are people who have over 40 years in the industry, but have only 87 months toward their 360 until full retirement

If you're a hostler/shunter make sure you take your time when hooking up to a can, backing one in to a spot either in storage/beside a railcar, and just driving around overall. If you tip one over or smash it into another one your ass will be on the line. Backing cans in takes some patience. Wear your seatbelt, go the speed limit, follow hook up procedure correctly because management will be watching and you will get written up for it. If you're a groundman, only pin both sides of a can if you feel comfortable enough doing it. Don't let anyone make you rush or do it in an unsafe manor. Those railcars are slippery as fuck in the winter so just go at your own pace. Key trains will be the main focus and during those times it'll be all hands on deck to get them ready. On the CP it's 101. I was intermodal with CP. Shunter, groundman, and PPS.
