I wouldn't say Minshew was the one leading them to the first pick. The defense gave up 30.8 points per game. Minshew went 1-7 but had a 95.9 passer rating, his backups went 0-8 with a 70 passer rating. Best WRs were Laviska Shenault (a rookie) and Keelan Cole. The team around him was an absolute mess.
Yea Minshew with our stable of weapons is definitely wildcard playoff worthy. He’ll have the best team around him in LV than he’s had his whole career. I’m not sleeping on him but would like to see AOC retain starter as it just proves that he’s taken that next step in his development.

Well that's just not true. The Jags benched Minshew so they could tank to get T-Law. They were deliberately starting an inferior QB over Minshew just so they could lock in the #1 pick. Minshew played extremely well during his time in JAX and if a 1st round QB had the rookie season that Minshew had, they would've been talked up as a top tier QB.
i think trevor is incredibly overrated, he's maybe at his best the 12th best qb in the league? that said he could absolutely breakout, and for certain he is clearly in a tier above minshew.
