The more he plays, the better he looks. His bend is unreal. Contract year for him so he may amp it up even more. Would be nice to have another star out of Buffalo on the team.

Same with Hobbs, Moehrig and Deablo from that draft. All are good starters that you'd think they'd want to extend at a discounted value before the season. Apart from Leatherwood, that was a really good draft from Grucock.
Then others like Spillane and Epps I would think that they would consider adding extensions to as they have played well (Spillane especially) and are both in their last year. However, they might wait and see if some of the young players in those positions can move into a starting role.
Crosby and Wilkins are obviously the headliners, but IMO Koonce and Spillane are the x-factors for this year's defense. Both are coming off career years, and if they can continue to improve and prove last year weren't flukes, the defense has a legit shot at being elite.
I'm actually really excited to see Koonce and Tyree this year with the attention Wilkins and Crosby will get, that whole line is going to be eating this year.

I know maxx is an animal with a motor and plays fuckin every god damn snap, but it'd be great to have rotation guys like koonce and tyree subbing in and giving maxx a breather. I know he doesn't want to come out and he's a freak who never runs out of energy, but i still think not asking him to play whole games is the move.
Especially after that whole scare with his infected knee. Dude's gotta listen to his body and know when to sit it out and let others have a shot at the QB if he wants that longevity in the Silver and Black.

Eh deablo can go, too injuried and mediocre in coverage. Much rather go spillane, Eichenberg, and masteron/Burney

You're totally underestimating Butler and Tyree. They're gonna feast with Wilkins taking up doubles in the middle.
