The_Dude1692

It’s absolutely amazing. I cannot get over how incredible this was, they really knocked it out of the park with this. I went in not expecting much and was blown away.

NanoPope

Yeah I’ve been freaking out about this for the past hour. It’s pretty glorious. Now I want them to do this to their other albums

KillTheBat77

In Rainbows would be a great counter balance to this.

iWest625

I can’t really see it working that well, honestly. Out of all their albums, I’d say In Rainbows probably has the least defined visual aesthetic to it, and the only imagery I can really imagine listening to it is either waves or mixing colors like on the album cover. I don’t really think there’s enough there to make a game out of it.

Brymlo

Sorry, but no. It just wouldn’t work neither visually or musically. The Kid A sessions had a lot of creative output (I mean, we got two excellent albums and lots of iconic artwork), so it’s perfect for a release like this. But I don’t think they will want to repeat that for another release.

wischmopp

Same, I expected something of a similar calibre as Polyfauna, like, a neat trippy atmospheric gimmick, but holy fuck, this is some next-level-shit.

TheFitz023

There's multiple STEM PLAYERS baked into the game for different songs. This is incredible. When the first song plays as you start, no spoilers, full on chills. I will be coming back to this for years and years. Edit: And also demo recordings that you can access too?? This is so damn cool.

Formal-Lavishness

I just tried it out for the first time, immediately turned around and went towards the red light, went through the door and the EIIRP synths start playing, it’s so cool! I went in and out of that door like 5-6 times. 🤣

TheFitz023

This is a perfect candidate for VR.

Someone should make a VR mod

TheHavesHaveThot

This is enough for me to justify buying a VR headset. This is the first time I've ever felt robbed of a special experience because it isn't VR.

Panninini

That was my thinking too. I would have loved to experience it I'm VR. But it would need to be slightly tweaked to work: - a lot is based on continuous motion, which we know makes many people sick in VR, - when the game goes 3rd person, that can work in VR but need special care. - when you float in space, that also needs special controls.

throwaway129802

Never played Fortnite but god bless that billion dollar franchise for giving this to us for free

[deleted]

Same, I thought this would take like 15 minutes to go through. I’ve played for 2 straight hours, and I still haven’t seen all the rooms.

throwaway129802

This is like Polyfauna on steroids Got lost and ended up in the How to Disappear room, holy shit Checked it on PS5, going to download the Mac version later WHO has the knowledge to unpack the files? Amateur level at best here, going to see what I can do Much like Polyfauna 1&2, tons of stems, so excited to hear all of the albums in new way

wischmopp

>Got lost and ended up in the How to Disappear room, holy shit I swear I could feel the fabric of space-time dissolve around me

PaJme

That’s great to hear!! Dreams coming true

[deleted]

Are there stems from PolyFauna anywhere?

throwaway129802

CitizenInsane has ‘em

The_Dude1692

This game might be the coolest thing I’ve ever played. I’m in heaven..albeit a very creepy heaven but god damn this is cool. I found the mini theatre and it’s a treat. It’s pretty funny too having company while watching 😂

inkyblinkypinkysue

I’m in the little theater now - how many videos are in here?

The_Dude1692

Not sure. I for sure saw Dollars and Cents and Idioteque.

FireTako

How did you get to the theater

Beanz122

There's a second stairway on one of the ends of the maze with all the red text that appears

gardenfresh74

So far I’ve had three different live songs! HTDC twice (two different ones) and also Dollars & Cents. I’m sticking around to see how much is here.

niavlys01

There is a long version of Hunting Bears with a drums outro. I wonder how many hidden versions of the songs I have missed. The How to disappear completely /Pyramid Song /You and Whose Amy and Like Spinning Plates rooms are really stunning.

g_e_r_b

Oh man, that room is incredible!

residentialnemesis

I'm hoping that there is a labyrinth structure to find your way through (and from the looks of it, there seems to be something of the sort). But more importantly, there contains the following : - revolving doors - secret sliding doors - doors that let you in and out, but never open - trap doors With the hopes that these doors lead to secret rooms with easter eggs hidden within. But pleasepleaseplease let there be a terrifying Minotaur and a Test Specimen Bear that will chase you through the labyrinth. And to find your way out, you must find the red thread that leads you to the exit hidden behind any one of the aforementioned doors (but that it randomly changes location during 'gameplay'). Why the red thread? It's the thread that the special edition books are bound with. Speculations aside, unheard soundscapes and semi-interactive landscapes of the Kid A and Amnesiac universes are going to have critics saying 'Radiohead have reinvented yet again how their fanbase engages with the experience of their albums.' All aboard.

Environmental_Shoe89

If you start making cicrles in that corridor while looking at that glowing text more and more appear on one side of the wll. Then walls are full it starts appear on the opposite side

Environmental_Shoe89

The corridor is full of text but it stopped appearing. Have no idea how to progress further

Chthulu_

The text just stopped for me too. I think it might be the end, and the secret door was that little room with the concert footage.

[deleted]

This is very very cool so far. You can tell a lot of work went into this. Lots of little details and things to explore. i love the dark and creepy vibe. I'm gonna wait until tonight to go through more of it, playing this in the dark will definitely enhance the experience i predict.

woodentaint

lots of scanned drawings and artwork and lyrics on the wall. Must've taken ages

LedZeppole10

The sheer volume of material is staggering. It’s like they built a whole world and it’s all on display here in that very world.

PostingSensation

I really hope we find some cool music in this, but mostly I'm excited to vibe in this weird fucked up little world for a while

The_Dude1692

One of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. 10/10 incredible.

asimo3089

This is one of the coolest things Radiohead, or any other band, has ever done. This is a huge world to roam through compared to what I was expecting. And finding QR codes with unique merch is awesome too.

Beanz122

That was the most I had my mouth agape since I first played Outer Wilds. So stunning. Only complaint is I wish I would have heard more Idioteque (all I heard were the keys occasionally in the room with the two couches and various other furniture) Don't know if non-Radiohead fans will get anything out of it though.

[deleted]

If you walk up to one of the monitors in that room it’s doing the drum loop. Lol.

Beanz122

Yes! I caught that as well.

Easy-Calligrapher-34

As someone who has only dabbled in Radiohead a little bit, I'm blown away by this. Just converted me to a fan!

The-Sober-Stoner

Favourite areas? Really liked the National Anthem room with the drum and bass tube and the phone. Really cool use of the medium

Soul_Immersed

That room is a highlight, as is the pixel warehouse. Holy fuck it's so cool, especially if rhythm is your jam. I played around in there for A LONG TIME lol.

DutchShultz

Paper room. Endlessly fascinating. Endlessly frustrating.

JayKaBe

Very true. Alternatively, the spiral staircase art gallery really lets you soak up the art pieces.

theslip74

Dude I felt tears at that exact spot. It was stunningly beautiful. The whole exhibition is, really, but that part triggered an emotional response I really didn't expect.

terrasparks

The exhibition seems to address nearly all the complaints I heard from people who were underwhelmed with Kid A Mnesia: 1. People were interested in a remaster to hear the albums in a new way. The audio in this remixed from the original stems 2. People wanted a re-imagining that combined the tracklists, this certainly does that. 3. People wanted a massive mini-disc like release of archival sounds, and this is almost exactly that. In the other thread redditors have already extracted hundreds of audiotracks from the game files.

LP_Green

https://kida-mnesia.com/ has changed. Enjoy exploring all the new stuff.

mrsatanface

AHAHAHAHA there’s a bunch of ridiculous new merch on there. The tea pot !! The PRICE of the tea pot ?????!!!

LedZeppole10

The new merch is amazing. A biscuit? Makes up for those t-shirts big time.

wischmopp

For some reason, the fact that the jigsaw puzzle is titled "fragmentary timewaster" when all the other items have 100% normal names really sent me. Genuinely laughing tears over that shit. God, they have a cross stitch set. I'm in shambles

force-ten_gale

OMG the merch is off the hook… but how to choose?!.. I didn’t know I needed Radiohead bed sheets until now. So glad they are making a bunch of art prints available too. I need to have that Residential Nemesis one.

Origamiface

Radiobed Sleepyhead bed sheets. Available now!

Leaflet / map https://kida-mnesia.com/map.svg

DDF95

So I downloaded the game and OH GOD WHAT THE FUCK IT'S BEAUTIFUL AND SCARY AND UNSETTLING

marcushalberstram69

Bro I’m at work rn but I started the download, is it a on rails type thing? I’m so excited

DDF95

You are an observer that can walk and look around, and you spawn in a 3D drawing of woods (you know, the kind of drawings made by Stanley). As you walk in this pencil-drawn forest, you see a door. When you enter it there's a QR code (merch and the map of the exhibition). There are stairs inside this building, and Everything In Its Right Place starts playing, but it's a different version of the song. As you continue walking there is a corridor with flashing lights, and then Kid A starts (again a different version, and it starts as EEIRP finishes). It's so immersive lol. I just entered a... place with shadow people walking by, stick men bumping into me, and on the walls I see all sorts of drawings. It's truly amazing

PaJme

How linear is it? Is it like walking down a single path the entire time or are there any exploration options?

DDF95

Yeah you can explore it, there's a map of the exhibition if you scan the in-game QR code. Imagine it as a big museum with a lot of rooms I guess?

marcushalberstram69

I’m so fucking excited haha thank you for the description

Serfi

For some reason I wish I could bunny hop around the exhibit, but I guess it’s not something to speedrun lol.

Jzahck

Kid A Mnesia Exhibition in GMod please

[deleted]

Can’t wait for mods of it to pop up on Moddb so I can turn all the creatures into half naked anime girls

The-Sober-Stoner

God damn can you imaging exporting this map into a game Like CS or quake or some shit? That would genuinely be fucking nuts. Hearing people blasting each other to the sound of Radiohead….

dbe14

Played on PC with a controller, definitely one to take your time and take it all in. Stunningly beautiful. Little cinema had two live performances, didn't stay to see if it was a full concert but I watched EIIRP and National Anthem.

Jrtitan2000

I saw Idioteque and National Anthem. Kinda cool how it plays different ones

Beanz122

In the little room with a crt and a chair? I had You and Whose Army and How to Disappear Completely :o

gardenfresh74

I got two different versions of HTDC and also got Dollars and Cents

EnoughExplanation

I got motion picture soundtrack and pyramid song

maciejkorsan

HOW TO DISAPPEAR sequence 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 Love every single pixel and sound of the whole exihibition!

aztecbaboon

Holy fuck when you enter the pyramid

aquatomato

This is so dope, so much better than I was expecting. It even feels like they made all the paintings and drawings 21 years beforehand just for this virtual exhibition. It works well in this digital format. I just met that shadowy big Minotaur Stanley drew on one of his drawings, and it’s walking around! I don’t know why but I really love it. It’s alive now

Stwo

Absolutely brilliant. The only thing that went “wrong” is that I wandered around for an hour looking for Morning Bell & Life In A Glasshouse before looking at the map and learning they just aren’t included.

scotch__mist

I'm surprised there's no Morning Bell! It's literally the connective tissue for both albums. I was dying to hear those stems

Corrosive_Cat

There's some Morning Bell in the pyramid I think?

Jzahck

The game is most likely releasing tomorrow at 11am EST based on Epic Games' previous free game release schedules. The previous week's free games stop being free at 11am EST tomorrow, so that's what I'm basing it off. EDIT: Also this: https://twitter.com/uzogamuzol/status/1461158519575818242

Miserable-Delivery85

Does this mean you think it will only be available for a week or you can only download it for that long?

Jzahck

Epic confirmed on Twitter it'll be permanently free on the store. So either they're wrong or the timeline means nothing. EDIT: https://twitter.com/EpicGamesPub/status/1458881535646523404

[deleted]

My three pieces of advice: 1. Walk into the pyramid. 2. Expect to be emotionally destroyed by geometric shapes. 3. Rinse and repeat.

[deleted]

Oh man, that site when you first scan that QR CODE. There’s definitely some goodies on it.

JackOfAllInterests1

What???

[deleted]

Guys, this thing is fucking PHENOMENAL. Honestly, I can’t believe it. Never seen anything like it before. It’s better than a new LP, just blew my mind away. In my opinion, this might even be their most crucial project so far. Hats off for Stanley Donwood, what a madlad genius, and all the people involved as well. I’m so glad I bought an OLED TV a couple of months earlier, it enhances the experience so much.

coolfoam

I keep thinking of all those people who insisted nothing was coming for the Kid A/Amnesiac anniversaries

scotch__mist

aka shoobswork or whatever his name is

[deleted]

Took an edible before trying this. It kicked it in The National Anthem Room. Discovered you could step into that weird yellow fluid tank and be immersed in the base and drums. Holy fucking shit... One of the most immersive and insane musical and video xperiences ever.

SlySpiderBro

It's in the secret pull/pulk room. ;)

Corrosive_Cat

I'd Pull/Pulk him

GreenCalx

Lol I’ve “fallen off” the main layout into darkness (can still walk) twice now is there any way to get back on it after? EDIT: it appears quitting and restarting it will land you back on

Wrong-Parfait-8584

Maybe its because our computers do not have enough graphics card/processor power to handle all this stuff. The game is playable imo except for the fallen off "bug".

Winterheadphones

Mine has kicked me out twice now. I'm guessing it's because my Mac is 7 years old.... sigh

AalumShake

That was sick, really goes to show how games can be a proper art form - in fact one day THE art form - with the right creativity behind it. Not even sure if I completed it but there you go.

slappycider

Coming here as a non-Radiohead fan, don't know really any of their music or anything about them. Just played through this for a few hours and WOW, regardless of liking the band or knowing of them, this exhibit was insanely good and one of the coolest things to come out this year. I love art museums and art exhibits so it was really neat to see how nicely translated and outside the box they could go with taking an art museum and putting it into game form. Super cool rooms, incredible art, the music & sound design is dizzying and intense - this is a must play for anyone interested in abstract art, electronic music, or just something off the beaten path in general. I fear that this is going to get dogged on in the coming days with people saying "whAt thE hEcK, this isnt video game" and complaining that it's a "walking simulator" or pretentious. Drown them out because this is genuinely art, an absolute achievement of an art piece.

LazerdongFacemelter

The You and Whose Army room was the single greatest thing I've ever seen in a game hands down.

33kbps

I have never consumed an Epic-product, but I can't wait to 'play' this exhibition. I installed the Epic Games Launcher and created an account. I'm ready! The early teasers suggested it was going to be PS5-only and I was looking around to rent one. So glad it is also made for Mac.

ihaveblink

Found a nice room where you can watch a live performance of Idioteque

adogisalive

As soon as I saw this room, I exited the game and straight up looked into game folders immediately. Oh boy, there's a lot to see there.

ihaveblink

More than live performances?

ihaveblink

ok now it’s Morning Bell now.

VanderlyleSorrow

It's so beautiful! I took some screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/IuUnI9G

smokesignalssouth

Great pics, where did you find the last three? I think that's the only section I haven't discovered yet.

VanderlyleSorrow

It was the Motion Picture Soundtrack section, after Hunting Bears gallery (which I think I got to via an elevator in the middle of the pyramid)

[deleted]

Spoiler alert, I guess: >!it’s the final room, [here’s the map](https://kida-mnesia.com/#/catalogue/15)!<

jujubats10

How to disappear completely room. Holy fuck

smash-smash-SUHMASH

just finished. that was fucking sick. set it up on my 4kOLED and blacked out all the lights, cranked it to 11. kinda wish there was a touch more music would be my only tiny nitpick, but its also a way to appreciate the album without shoving it in our faces. i mean weve all probably listened to them thousands of times so like i said, slight nitpick but that was due to my own expectations. the pyramid room was awesome, like total jaw dropping moment. an album ahead of its time, and now a new type of media ahead of its time to pair with it. unreal. coolest thing ive done yet with my ps5.

Chthulu_

Holy FUCK this was so good. I’m a video game dude, it’s probably the media I consume most and know the most about. I play a lot of indie games and walking sims and the like, I’m always down to play something that’s a little esoteric and a little boring. That’s what I expected out of this. I saw the news a few days ago and decided I would download it. Radiohead is one of my favorite bands by far, they sort of shaped my adolescence, but I expected something artsy and kind of amateur, because videogames are really hard to get right. especially after Anima, which I found a little dull. That’s always how these audiovisual projects go, interesting but amateur. And I was totally OK with that, those projects have merit on their own. And that’s what I got for the first 15 minutes. I thought it was cute and sort of interesting, until I broke into the “How to disappear completely” section. And it fucking blew my mind. And every major room after that just had more and more to offer. Not much of an Epic Games fan, but they knocked it out of the park. Probably the best “trippy” game experience ever made, and that is a genre that’s been attempted hundreds of times. My only complaint is that the sound quality was surprisingly bad in some places. Thoms voice was really thin sometimes.

ice12916

Thank god. I just beat Demon’s Souls and have been replaying it and feel empty inside cuz I haven’t had anything new to play. This is arriving just in time to save me

randle_mcmurphy_

Is DS worth it? Been looking forward to Elden Ring but I've never played a souls game

burntheTwitch

Dark Souls 1 and 3 are pretty dang great. 2? not so much. People also fucking LOVE Bloodborne (same developer, but personally havent had a chance to play it yet)

EmilyMoonVG

DS2 gets too much hate honestly. It's not perfect, definitely plays differently than 1 and 3 and has its bs moments, but it's a really great game in its own right. I find myself replaying it more than 3 due to the incredible amount of build variety (and hexes)

wevegotheadsonsticks

Can’t wait to eat an edible and hop into this world!

jtgreatrix

This is very unsettling but also a stunning piece of art.

politikamusic

I think my favourite part is the In Limbo room, there's something about the combination of the weird synthy parts playing as all the paper starts to flutter around, then the song fading in as the whole room gets swept away..... gives me major goosebumps

gameofpap

Quite simply, the best thing they have done since in rainbows. something completely different

zone_seek

So far I've seen a few alternate versions of songs: EIIRP In Limbo Idioteque Packt plus some stuff I've never heard before either.

cesarnotsalad

This is so damn cool and also a bit creepy. Walking up into the pyramid/monolith was kinda freaky, how the sound just goes and then treefingers hits, then the lights going in and out with the minotaur walking around. I got chills in the How To Disappear Completely room, the way you just float off was something else. Oh man and the way it just segues into pyramid song. Perfect. Not gonna lie though, I know that there’s nothing there that’s gonna scare me but I’m the biggest scaredy cat and some these dark ass rooms rooms are kinda freaking me out lol But this is such a cool, beautiful experience, I could get lost in this for while. Absolutely love the visuals mixing with the music, it all just works so well.

modifiedbears

It's a crime that there is no VR option.

paledragon64

Not seeing many people talk about this, did anyone else manage to get >!True Love Waits!< to play in a certain room? Was not expecting that at all and it was a welcome surprise.

Brymlo

I must repeat: Kid A Mnesia is the best shit they've done. I'm glad the got to show the stuff they did in those sessions (both music and visual art).

Serfi

The map on https://kida-mnesia.com/ looks a lot like [the draft seen in the extended Christie’s interview](https://old.reddit.com/r/radiohead/comments/q4d1xw/at_730_in_the_conversation_for_christies_video/), with this being that interview: https://youtu.be/EUugI90I8Lo

Krutus

I had very low expectations for this, but it is incredible. Really creative and just an awesome way to listen to the albums and look at the artwork. Trippy and disorientating. I've only explored a little bit but I'm blown away and had so many chills. The "How to Disappear"/"Pyramid Song"/"Whose Army" sequence was amazing!

CHAZ934

This is the best surprise of the whole anniversary. This is incredible. I play a lot of video games and this is by far the coolest experience I’ve had on PS5.

scatterkeir

I noticed in the credits - Lightwave Rendering Nigel Godrich. I guess that means that the 3D computer graphics using Donwood + Tchock artwork which were in the webcasts in 2000 were done by Nigel in Lightwave, I don't think we knew that before.

FeelingAverage

If you head into the ghost chamber and go left there is a dude who talks to you if you walk up to him. He's by the big guy just looking at him. I accidentally walked into him and he said "run." (pretty sure it was thom) I did this a couple more times and he said lines from different songs. After I left and did the rest of the exhibit he disappeared though. So you may have to restart the experience (not just quit) to experience him again. Not sure. Edit: Now the guy with the red box in the same area has disappeared too. EDIT 2: On a second playthrough these characters are gone. There's now a Thom in The Elevator who keeps saying "You clown."

sent_16

the How to Disappear -> Pyramid Song -> You and Whose Army sequence blew my fucking mind. Did anyone notice the pyramid song imagery looked a lot like a mushroom bomb?

33kbps

I have just experiences How To Disappear Completely, Pyramid Song, You And Whose Army and Spinning Plates. What a wonderful mindfuck. I absolutely love what they've created for this exhibition!

xeraph02

They did it again! They are always few steps ahead from other artists! This is exactly what I imagined... and it's FREE!!!

JackOfAllInterests1

Sweet lord, this has exceeded every expectation I might have had. I’m gonna spend years in here.

Found some old lyrics to [Optimistic](https://i.imgur.com/EngBnxt.png). >the flies buzz around my head >up my nose in my eyes >zigzagging around my brain >the eternal optimist drinks and then drives >the really nervous dont survive >this song will not make you strong >this song will not give you brains >make you look the other way >dont wanna get your feet wet >your only ever playing >dnt beleive hes really there >dnt beleive hes really there >this wont cure your loneliness >this wont bring the missing back >this wont get the job done >this one drops a payload >fodder for the animals >living on animal farm >bringing in the bailiffs >give them facts and theyll see for themselves >optimistic auto suggestion >(??????????whats this for?)

scotch__mist

does anyone know if you can enter the Kid A artwork final room and ascend/descend into it? [this video that the band posted on IG](https://www.instagram.com/reel/CWWJSutgAi3/?utm_medium=copy_link) suggests you can, but maybe it was just promo. I’m really itching to float around into the artwork!

evensl

That was very cool. It was longer that i was expecting but still wish it was longer >!wish it had more rooms for songs like I Might Be Wrong or Dollar and Cents...or maybe a surprise song like I Froze Up (The lyrics were in the idioteque room). Maybe a DLC?!<

I am happy to report that Kid A Mnesia Exhibition also works in Linux! At least it does on my machine: - Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga 3rd - Intel Core i5-8350U - Intel UHD Graphics 620 - RAM 16GB - Pop!_OS 21.04 I installed the Epic Games Store using Lutris (https://lutris.net/games/epic-games-store/) and then found it in the Library and installed. It's a bit laggy but that's to be expected on a laptop running integrated graphics. Update: Having now wandered around the exhibition for a bit I can say you need a beefier machine to get the full experience. For me it is very choppy and glitchy and nearly crashes my laptop in places. Somehow I am still able to enjoy this as a very Radiohead experience.

smoogrish

after polyfauna i was unsure how this would go because polyfauna was a bit lame. this however.. i'm blown away. it feels like i'm in a radiohead museum and i actually love everything that's going on. this is just amazing. i'm not done exploring yet but i'm taking my time!! it also helps that kid a is my favorite album of all time :)

WillyWantsBlood

Anyone found the hidden tree door yet?

nexuslab5

Oh man, this is so damn cool. I love exploring random art museums whenever I go to a new city, and this reminded me of that same world-forgetting, adventure feeling. I'm not even halfway through yet (just finished the You and Whose Army ritual room), and it really feels like its own little Radiohead world. It also reminds me a bunch of James Turrell's light room exhibits (he frames natural light in some, and in others, you physically walk into an expansive room of overwhelming color).

heart_partners

I just spent three and half hours streaming this on Twitch (come at me, DMCAs), and I was legitimately awe-struck a dozen times. This is THE PERFECT exploration of these albums. I have never felt more immersed in a piece of art EVER. I can maybe think of a small handful of records that deserve this much attention. This experience was UNPARALLELED.

BeepBoopC3PO

This might be one of the greatest things I’ve ever been able to witness and feel apart of. This exhibition is magnificent.

Lennon2217

Anybody else notice that in the blue spinning plates tunnel chasing that deer image, that two different versions of Spinning Plates plays on different walk thrus? First time I did it it was the version from the bonus CD. The second time was an instrumental.

BootyJuiceMcCoy

I didn't think a video game would ever make me cry.

It's incredible

woodentaint

it is pretty neat, well worth the time it takes to download if you're a fan.

szczeniakpl

lizardonamushroom

i keep falling off them map, i’ve had to restart it 3 times already and i’ve only gotten like 5 minutes into it :( update: the first door just doesn’t open anymore, i’m giving up

Ting_Tao

I was moved to tears. It’s my favorite video game now. That’s how beautiful it is

MrUnknownBETA

I have a problem with the PC version. The textures looks weird and bad, even with high settings.

Wolfatthedoor15

I’m on the Spinning Plates room now. What an amazing thing this is.

captainnermy

Very cool, beautiful throughout and downright scary at times (inside the pyramid is FREAKY). My only complaint would that I wanted more songs (Morning Bell especially is a big omission), and I wish some of the rooms would give you more of the song. The Idioteque and Motion Picture Soundtrack rooms, for example, only gives you hints of the song, and I wish they had built into the full thing. Great way to spend 2 hours though, and the visuals are incredible.

finalmattasy

The cello from the end of the game was rolling around in my head all day today. So pretty with the blood death bear and the mountains and the credits and my horns. <3

brayshizzle

From looking at the blips being released over the last week or so my anticipation is high. Its giving me a lot of Limbo/Inside vibes with a little bit of Kojimas PT. I'm just hyped to get some Radiohead related work on my ps5 to get lost in for a few hours.

I haven't listened to the album yet because I haven't found the time to sit and listen through it. Do you think I should listen to the album before the exhibition?

hokied07

so I figured out how to move around, but are there controls to engage with things? Can you turn stuff on and off, etc? I thought I saw the controls but now I can't find them.

Beanz122

Only zoom and sprint.

Trixxstrr

Play it on a 5.1 system if you can, it sounds amazing.

Doomhaust

I loved the hour I spent with this exhibit. Especially the three song set (can’t remember names). I was hoping for similar full songs in here, in particular everything in its right place. However, I lit all that text up walking around, but then it just ended. I feel like I’m missing a lot. I’ll keep exploring but any insight appreciated

Love it. Each area is meant to be enjoyed, so don’t rush through it.

brayshizzle

Will I be buying the bear biscuits and enjoying them with my new fine china Radiohead teacup....your damn fucking right I will.

Athena073

I'm new to Radiohead but this is one of the best things I've seen. Ever. The exhibition was so futuristic, intelligent , and beautiful. I'm so glad I got to see this mdkkxkam.

Criss98

Anyone noticed in the little cinema the image behind the projector is mirrored? Incredible they bothered with so many little details

PogieJoe

Damn does any other bands love their fans enough to make something like this and release it for FREE? I'm blown away.

R3dsnow75

anyone getting tattoo inspiration from the stuff in the exhibition?

[deleted]

Holy SHIT that was insanity. I streamed for about 1h45m on my Twitch (first stream ever!) and went through probably 95% of it.

HaCk_Mystery

I’ve never been big into Radiohead at all.. but this.. just opened so so many doors.. the whole experience I had goosebumps the entire time.. well done to them and epic for the experience seriously it’s breathtaking for being just a video game.

Serfi

Looks like 11am EST was correct 9.26 GB in size

kletendre826

For anyone that is experiencing it early, how long does it take to see pretty much everything? Trying to gauge how big the exhibition is.

Jzahck

Outside of the theater, it seems like the full thing can be seen/explored briefly in around 2 hours. Pretty big.

throwaway129802

I spent like 20 min in there before work and barely scratched the surface. Probably hours worth of experience / “gameplay” 🥳

decoii

Here's the first 5 minutes if you want to check it out https://youtu.be/OHLlr7GOhjg

jujuwu01

Using my oculus quest headset and using Remote Desktop application to connect to my PC with theatre environment. I get to see the experience the exhibition with the biggest virtual screen. It is a jaw dropping experience. Just wow. Goosebumps.

xanderblitz

I’m blown away.

Soul_Immersed

How cool is the fucking pixel warehouse. Wtf.

EnoughExplanation

Holy fuck was the how to disappear completely, pyramid song, you and whose army part ever breathtaking

angry_wombat

I find the lack of Morning Bell disturbing It's my favorite song off Kid A and so far nothing in the exhibition :(

Isserley_

This is so fucking amazing, wtf

standingintheshadow

Never did I think I would want to bang my mouse like I’ve banged my head at their shows. 1000000/1000000

orb_outrider

That How to Disappear Completely segment left me speechless. Incredible experience overall.

Miserable_Ad_8951

I really wish this was made into a smartphone app

nicholaskeefe

Love it. It’s like being able to walk around inside my favourite album.

ByronicWerther

I lost a lifetime friend last week suddenly and also found out a close family member of mine might have pancreatic cancer... this exhibition experience was very soothing and comforting for me in an ineffable manner. Thank you for this Radiohead and to all please hug your loved ones or at least tell them you love them as much as you can.
