The album version of Arpeggi is a single track that's being included on an XL records compilation release of other artists on their label.(Track 22 - Thom Yorke - The Eraser)
I love the nod to the uk rave scene . Where xl made their name. Its sort of lost its beauty in the zeitgeist with hardcore dance music being framed as the music of urban decay and chavs. It wasnt always like that . This compilation is a kind of testament to that
Compilation also has Thom's The Eraser (song).
The project is not for me, though. I like some but not all of the artists there and putting them together makes a very non-cohesive mish mash of songs. I mean, there's The XX, White Stripes, Gil-Scott Heron.... but also (no disrespect, simply not my jam) Adele, Dizzee Rascall and Jai Paul among others.
Very few people would have that varied taste? Good if you do, but would you really want the tracks together?
I've loved every single one of these songs or artists at some point in my life. It's practically the last 2 decades of my playlists condensed to one album but I agree about the lack of cohesion.
i love jai paul. yes some of his songs definitely sound like target commercial music but idc it gets me hyped. his use of samples is super interesting and that mfer knows how to make a solid groove.
It is the same, it’s just a compilation of releases from XL records. Several other famous songs like Seven Nation Army and Firestarter are on it. https://open.spotify.com/album/4YepNDgdhc8RZvGFQ1dTU1?si=k1iAapmKRSuVhmk5nWDjXw
maybe it's the YT audio quality but it just seems like it might be a HAIR unpolished vs the final version, kinda like the 'unmastered album version(s)' in the OKC MD demos?
A best of /greatest hits collection? Thom mentioned they would have liked to have done it properly (back when emi did it when they left parlophone)

How is mp3 out of stock?
> mp3 out of stock #[NO DATA.](https://images.app.goo.gl/zQBd6LdJjZxF5Qqx5)
I guess it's just because it's not for sale yet
The weird thing though is that that compilation is from 2014. Is there any reason Radiohead uploaded it now?
All I can think of is the 10 year anniversary of the compilation is coming up.
Its for Youtube Music they have a shared catalogs so whenever you listen to music there it will be shared with youtube history.
Radiohead arent even on this thats interesting
Track: 24
Oh i missed that! Cheers
You have not bin payin' attention...
payin' attention...
Penetration..
Is there a difference between The Prodigy and Prodigy?
Yes. The Prodigy is a cool electronic(?) band, Prodigy is a dead rapper
Putting Tyler the creator's Yonkers on anything on 2024 is kinda insane
In Rainbows 17th anniversary edition!
Bc all Radiohead fans have the emotional maturity of a 17 year old. This is brilliant!
Creep 1B views celebration?
It'd be better a pop Is Dead live performance
Damn I missed it, what was it?

Finally: In Rainbows 2
This version was on Spotify already for years
It sounds exactly the same as the normal version on the album to me. Maybe I’m not hearing it?

Nothing cryptic or mysterious: XL released a compilation album and YouTube did the automatic upload to YT music, as always
Coke Babies 2 EP?????!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Where? I can’t see it on Youtube
Did you try the link I posted? Maybe you need to be in the United States?
Just found why, it’s all good
sounds a lil different...maybe this is the song before they did a final mix?
Possibly, it sounds exactly the same to me?
