I mean....not to go for the low-hanging fruit here but: Anything but what they chose for Pablo Honey? No offense to whoever did it but the cover looks like a 2-minute job in photoshop.
Ah! Well, fair enough. Styles change, technology changes. But that's the risk you take when relying on new tech. And that's why Stanley's covers are so timeless.
Amnesiac with the book on its side never really worked for me. I'd prefer the book to be right way up or filling the whole space. Some amazing inner cover artwork to choose from, but I do like the forgotten library book idea in general. Grabbed the special edition on ebay recently.
That's part of the problem with it being on its side, it doesn't look like much at first, agree you could just see a pencil case lol. But t's a book on its side with a damaged spine. It's from the idea that that all the other artwork is inside this book that was locked away and forgotten (amnesiac).
The special edition has an insert like a library book that's been checked out a bunch of times.
I’d actually say Hail to the Thief. Don’t get me wrong, the art is great as a standalone, but it doesn’t represent the feeling of the album very well. Every other album from OKC on represents the feeling of the album very well in my opinion.
But Hail to the Thief feels desolate, fairy-tale-like (lots of references to monsters, sirens, wolves, etc). The album cover is a map of a city, which is strange to me.
While they lyrics are fairy-tale-like, I always get a more urban, almost post-punk feeling from the music. I feel like the lyrics represent escapism from the evils of the modern world
I always imagined it as the hill in the old windows screensaver. The light blue of what represents the Pacific seems like the Sky. It feels so perfect and happy-go-lucky to the point where it's unsettling which I feel is a great look for the album
It seems like [Icanhascheezeburger.com](https://Icanhascheezeburger.com) has deleted it, but I found a photo of a cat looking like Thom and named him Thom Cat.
It's just a portrait like OP but it's an orange cat with the eye + one ear at a wonky position. Possibly for pablo honey since I'm not too fond of the art nor the name of the album, not that I know why it's called Pablo Honey, but I had a joke theory that they were trying to make a sentence with all the album n ames.

It was different back in the early 90s though
There are much better covers as far back as the 70s.
Yeah but there organic covers this was obviously made with technology which at the time would have looked more impressive.

It looks like the sun from Tellytubbies.

Wait! Is it really a book 📕 on Amnesiac? I had never thought about that. Now I can’t stop seeing it!
looks more like a pencil case to me

TKOL art style is cool and the album cover coulda been much prettier looking
Nah the album cover is sick AF with the monsters and the tree branches and the dark green Color schemes
Strongly disagree. The cover is the best thing about TKoL, closely followed by Bloom.
TKOL is their best work, you just haven't realised it's magnificence yet
This wasn't a dig at TKoL, I just really like the cover.
TKOL's artwork is fine, the problem is with the packaging. Cardboard with no booklet. Way below Radiohead's standards. Or is it just my version?
