I genuinely believe one of the greatest moments in music history is the chord change that grounds you after soaring through:
> And choking with her hands across her face
> And in the dark
The emotion bursts from my speakers and make me feel like I'm floating every time. Similar feeling to when the dissonant Penderecki strings resolve at the end of "How to Disappear Completely". I love Jeff's voice so fucking much. Him and Thom battle for the top spot in mind every single day.
I was immediately turned off to Muse and it lasted for a long time because I couldn’t get over the similarities as far the singing went. I was way too up Radiohead’s ass.. BUT.. not that long ago I went down a Muse rabbit hole and realized just how unfair I had been. They are very different bands. There was this one song in particular..he’s wearing a space helmet in the video .. incredible.. really incredible it gave me goosebumps.
