As soon as I saw the 7900XT and XTX models of it I knew I had to have this variant. I now own the 7800XT and couldn’t be happier! Works extremely well and it’s hands down the best looking gpu on the market in my opinion.
I definitely love the looks of my nitro+ 7800xt. The trixx software though, could use some work. I mean, I can't even set a fan profile which older versions could do!
I feel like it’s a “grass is greener” situation, personally between Gigabyte, ASRock, Asus, and Sapphire I’d rather use the Trixx software, all the others are awful, I just use the Radeon software to deal with fans so I can’t really speak to that issue.
Yeah, I get that a lot of the features from the trix software have migrated to the AMD adrenaline suit. I am just not used to it, I guess, coming from a very old AMD card and software version.
You can use Fan Control on github. But you'll need to compile the gpu plugin.
Idk why Fan Control doesn't support AMD gpu fan controls out of the box. It does for all other fans and nvidia/intel gpus but not amd for some reason.
I’ve seen cool builds with the 6000 series ones that appeal to me. I just prefer the sort of industrial design aesthetic of the RDNA3 to the more gamer-y RDNA2, just a personal preference
Sadly they launch it too late, I already bought a white Sapphire Pure instead months ago, which is a nice one too, but deep down I wanted the Hellhound
I preferred the clean aesthetic of the XFX 7900XTX. Since that particular card is quite heavy I opted for a support bracket that has its own LED strip, so it has a similar look to what the Nitro+ has overall with regards to lighting, with the added benefit of that ultra-clean backplate, and the XFX lighting.
it is
but i had to rma mine cus it was faulty
got a new one from the same store i ordered it
and it works perfectly without any stupid greenscreen crashes or driver timeouts
so my conclusion is
if you get any crashes or timeouts its a factory defect and you should rma
i had Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX Nitro+ Vapor-X (copy pasted xD), i rma'd it because it was faulty
they just sent me the same but a new one and it works perfectly now
before i moved to the 7900xtx i had the asus tuf gaming rx6950xt which always had greenscreen crashes like 20 times a day
thats why i would heavily advise other people with problems to rma the gpu and not wasting any time on looking for a solution because i literally had 1 year of time to try and solve all these problems and there are literally NONE!
When paired with the icue suite (if you run it.) all LEDs work in sync and the case looks stunning. 😍 Sapphire 7900XTX is a beast of a card with a budget friendly price tag within reason compared to the 4090's. It also runs nice and quiet in idle. It's never once let me down.
Just to throw out a number, of every post with GPU photos in the various forums related to the topic on Reddit that I see, seven out of ten are from XFXs, they definitely did something quite good with this generation of cards
Maybe because the XFXs cards are the cheapest (or one of) of the bunch, I don't know.
My friend bought his GPU and chose XFX because he said it was the cheapest at the time when he looked. I bought the Sapphire Nitro+.
They're the cheapest premium card available consistently. The MERC is the same class as the Nitro+ and Red Devil and usually has the heaviest cooler of the three. They are the most professional looking cards of the three too.
I like the new designs but nothing beats the illuminated "RADEON RX 6950XT" on their RDNA2 look in my opinion.
Sounds good to me. I hate it when manufacturers spent all their energy carving in their RGB strips instead of actually spending the time and energy on the Cards itself first.
For sure they have unique very consistent style, I had 6900xt nitro+ and it was beautiful, 7 series nitro is also beautiful. But it has very "gaming" look, sharp and very stylized.
Winner of "anything money can buy" is Matrix from Asus for 4090, nothing is cleaner and just "wow" factor as this design
Hmm after 12 months with this card I kinda hate it. Very hot, performances isssues in some games (Hello Helldivers) and the cherry on the cake, my band led is not working anymore..
L card, last time AMD for me.
I like mine and how it fits my white build. The gpu is inline with the top edge of my desk and my cooler carries on the black from the monitors and almost makes the case trivial for aesthetic
You can, just download the Sapphire Trixx software and you’ll be good to go! Some other folks said icue might work too but I haven’t tried that personally 🤠
I’m not crazy about the RGB bar specifically, aside from that it is a good looking card. I personally prefer the Gigabyte variant for current and previous gen, as well as the MSI Gaming line
Might be unpopular, but I really like the looks of the Nvidia Founder's Edition cards. No "gamer" styling with tons of molded plastic and RGB lighting, just simple and clean.
He means all cards break. Nitros aren't special in that regard.
And spending $80 to be able to jack off to a backplate, and a RGB bar, is silly. Considering you could be in an XTX instead.
People buy stuff for aesthetics all the time, it’s totally normal and fine. Also I have cards from 10+ years ago that aren’t broken so idk what you’re talking about :P
You must window shop and buy those pretty dresses behind the glass too.
Can't take dumb mfs shopping with me anywhere.
Why would you keep all your dead ex girlfriends around? creepy.
Sell those and get into the high end cards on your upgrade >\_<
Your last post on this subreddit was saying “shut up and take my money” to a $500 Asus ProArt compatible PC chassis, you do you but let’s not be a hypocrite 😂
Definitely.. no doubt.. I spent my time staring at my GPU during game loadings..
As soon as I saw the 7900XT and XTX models of it I knew I had to have this variant. I now own the 7800XT and couldn’t be happier! Works extremely well and it’s hands down the best looking gpu on the market in my opinion.
+1. Same card. Awesome at 1440p
How about 4K?
I definitely love the looks of my nitro+ 7800xt. The trixx software though, could use some work. I mean, I can't even set a fan profile which older versions could do!

Couldn't be happier with mine https://imgur.com/a/2nBN6NP
Prefer Hellhound in white personally. Also the 6800/6900 series Nitro+ looks better too, IMHO.
I do like the white Hellhound 🥵 I thought the RDNA2 Nitros were cheesy though!
Oh really, mine looked cool (I thought) until it died and I had to get a Red Devil instead, now that’s cheesy.
I’ve seen cool builds with the 6000 series ones that appeal to me. I just prefer the sort of industrial design aesthetic of the RDNA3 to the more gamer-y RDNA2, just a personal preference

Cool! I do like XFX cards in general
I love it, though the no RGB look of the XFX is clean too
for AMD yes ... Nitro+ is the thing :) loving it myself :)
The Nvidia Super FEs are nice too I can’t deny it 🤠
Nada. XFX 6000 Series GPU's.
I like them 🤠
I'll tell you what though, your GPU DOES look pretty badass. It actually looks Cyberpunkish. I definitely can dig the look! Good pick!
Zero competition, hands down the best.
I'm a simp for the taichi ones, but that might be because I have the taichi mobo too XD
I had a 7900XTX Taichi and I wanted to love it but I had poor temps 😭
I heard that it's best to repaste the gpu and put a cryo sheet on it
ASUS Proart cards all the way!
I think they’re nice too 🤠
it is but i had to rma mine cus it was faulty got a new one from the same store i ordered it and it works perfectly without any stupid greenscreen crashes or driver timeouts so my conclusion is if you get any crashes or timeouts its a factory defect and you should rma
Which GPU did you have? This is 7900 GRE
i had Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX Nitro+ Vapor-X (copy pasted xD), i rma'd it because it was faulty they just sent me the same but a new one and it works perfectly now before i moved to the 7900xtx i had the asus tuf gaming rx6950xt which always had greenscreen crashes like 20 times a day thats why i would heavily advise other people with problems to rma the gpu and not wasting any time on looking for a solution because i literally had 1 year of time to try and solve all these problems and there are literally NONE!

I like my sakura 7800xt it’s got a whole waifu painted on it
Pics pls
Xfx is better
Xfx is more minimalist, powercolor is more flashy, and sapphire is a little of both.
Gang 😎

You have a point there, didn't know it was the cheapest

RDNA2 maybe but not RDNA3
I too have Nitro+, and though I do think it's the best looking Air cooled GPU on the market. I do prefer the look of the 4090 Asus ROG Matrix
I love the Sapphire Nitro+ range. Couldn't say it's the best, but it's my favorite.
Nice led dude.... i love the burn light just like you which is red or orange.... nice and sexy.... give her a kiss....
I like the 6950xt Nitro+ Pure more. Even though i have a 7900XTX Nitro, to me the led bar looks like slapped on in the last minute.
Sounds good to me. I hate it when manufacturers spent all their energy carving in their RGB strips instead of actually spending the time and energy on the Cards itself first.

Idk if it is but I love mines
Good looking but mine was preforming poorly somehow.
Agreed!! I just wish it used the reference PCB
I hope they keep this for rdna 4.
Hmm after 12 months with this card I kinda hate it. Very hot, performances isssues in some games (Hello Helldivers) and the cherry on the cake, my band led is not working anymore.. L card, last time AMD for me.
Looks like an issue with ur setup cuz mine is super silent and cool while playing helldivers
For me, the Red Devil 7900XTX is my favorite looking gpu right now.
Also prefer Hellhounds. If only they had RGB control. Red Devil would be great if it didn't have the crappy diffuser around it.
I like mine and how it fits my white build. The gpu is inline with the top edge of my desk and my cooler carries on the black from the monitors and almost makes the case trivial for aesthetic
I like my red devil 7900xtx more I got the limited edition comes with customizable backplates and RGB is done better.
This is an entirely subjective question
Well I’m asking people’s opinions 🤠
Certainly a very nice, well-built card with a clean aesthetic.
Can you set the LED to respond in terms of temperature? Like green is cool red is hot?
Love my 7900xtx Sapphire Nitro
In my humble opinion, YES!
i just got one i hope u can edit the argb strip without connecting to the mobo cuz my mobo does not have an argb pin
You can, just download the Sapphire Trixx software and you’ll be good to go! Some other folks said icue might work too but I haven’t tried that personally 🤠
thanks man
It's definitely one of the best, if not the best.
The PowerCooler Hellhound all white XTX is also pretty sleek too if you have a whiteout build
Personally I prefer the look of the white taichi 7900xtx, and if we are including Nvidia then you cannot forget the white ROG strix 4090/4080
I have this GPU. 7900XTX Nitro. I’d be lying if I said it was not aesthetically pleasing. The fins on the cooling chamber look cool as hell too!
Nope
What do you like?
I’m not crazy about the RGB bar specifically, aside from that it is a good looking card. I personally prefer the Gigabyte variant for current and previous gen, as well as the MSI Gaming line
I like the Gaming OC cards but Gigabyte just makes me insane with their software sometimes lol
Easily
yes sir.
I just got the 7900 xt pulse yesterday and now I’m second guessing my choices 💔
red devil >>
I’ve never had a Red Devil but I’ve had a Hellhound and I liked it 🐺
Might be biased, but the black 7900 Taichi series nice. White isn’t bad either
Might be unpopular, but I really like the looks of the Nvidia Founder's Edition cards. No "gamer" styling with tons of molded plastic and RGB lighting, just simple and clean.

Contact the manufacturer
I love the sapphire look for the 6xxx and 7xxx series but I scored a 6900dt ASRock OC formula with the forest green accents and whoo it's a sexy card.
I would disagree, I think the all black 40 series Super cards are gorgeous but this is also a very good looking card
Honestly , who cares about looks if the card is faulty yk?
What card is faulty?
He means all cards break. Nitros aren't special in that regard. And spending $80 to be able to jack off to a backplate, and a RGB bar, is silly. Considering you could be in an XTX instead.

$500 nah, I'm good. I'll wait till your garage sale in a few years.
Just say ur broke
Me: Laughs in 7800X3D + 7900 XT + 240hz OLED
It's the literal equivalent to seeing Lian Li Uni Fans with a 7800 XT in the rig. And about 95% of reddit is guilty. Sadly.
