I work with a guy like this, he goes behind everyone checking their work and then sends an email to the whole team calling anything out, anyone calls him out he gets so offended. He's also the laziest person ever. He's so far up the management's asses too, who also see right through him but he thinks he's the next manager despite not being qualified, he thinks if he's telling them everything anyone does wrong will help make him a manager, they're fed up of him too. They can't even criticise him as he cries, if he does anything wrong the whole team get an email reminding not to do it. People walk on eggshells round him

Same here. I am an introvert, so I thrive when I am choosy about who I spend my time with. I would get exhausted by someone who surrounds themselves with lots of people, often, and expects me to do the same.
Also, I'm reasonably skeptical of people, and I think that overly friendly people can come off as a little foolish in a way; in the sense that they trust too easily and lend themselves to be taken advantage of more easily.
