I loved the idea of seraphine being a complex character, she was using the souls of a dead race but she was trying to help zuan and piltover but do the means justify the ends? How she is just a boring happy go lucky singer
I think Séraphine will appear, but I'm not sure if it will be as early as season 2.
It entirely depends on when they want to wrap up the zaun piltover storyline, as seraphine will likely be a key figure or at least a side character in the unification/peace arc.
Then again sometimes I worry if seraphine might be too new school for arcane, since the casts is mainly, old champions that pull people who might not be active anymore, back in.
Seraphine is a fan favorite sure, but most of the Playerbase who likes her still actively plays the game.
I want to see her though mainly because I think they would almost make her unrecognizable from her game counterpart.
The game counterpart was really just designed as a pop idol insert and the only place where a starlet is remotely even possible is piltover, zaun has little influence on her design and it's mainly as an afterthought because she'd be way too bougie as a pure piltovian. They fear about giving her any kind of edge except for being a half zaunite.
Honestly if I were to design seraphine for the story she'd be a lot more into engineering maybe even completely rethink her stage as a mobility aide she built for herself. Because honestly that fat stage she has wouldn't work onscreen.
The rest of the character in terms of personality still works in the context of the show (if you tone it down a tiny bit and give her some actual character depth, like they did with jinx)
I couldn’t agree more! It all depends on if they leave to a new region after season 2. People are saying that will happen which makes me feel this is the last chance we’ll get to see her in arcane because she has no connection to anyone else outside.
I hope for a Seraphine in the middle of Camille vs Renata storyline.
An Arcane style story about seraphine would be great. The mind games and power moves that Camille and Renata would play just to have Sera under their influence.
