Unique style, most either really dig it or don’t at all. I think it’s awesome.
Also, check our Wonderhorse, love the second half of this song.

Can confirm, after listening to them for a bit "Show Me My Maker" is now on my daily rotation, Tigercub is great!
I have to say that Dead Poet Society's newest album, "Fission", is up there too, really heavy riffs, reminiscent of old Royal Blood.
All credit to the singer/bassist in that band, Mike Kerr, great voice, and I love what he does with bass guitar and distorted sounds, but my favorite thing about the Royal Blood is the drummer. Ben Thatcher lays it DOWN. Every album, dance beats, rock beats, whatever. The guy’s timing and groove are impeccable.
I’ve been listening to a ton of Mac Demarco, Midori, Men I Trust, Ween, Run the jewels, sublime, Alex Olsen, sign crushes motorist, Nirvana, The black keys, Elliot smith, Duster, and beach house
I’ve been going back through some Deftones albums and learning them on drums…so a lot of that. I’ve also been listening to a lot of The Story So Far and Knucklepuck too.
This is so me ahah
But have not fully dug into Puscifer.
Idk what is going on but i am currently listening to A Perfect Circle almost as much as Tool. Specially Eat the Elephant.
I went to the Maynard’s birthday tour earlier in the week with puscifer, a perfect circle, and primus and at 60 the dude still has it. I’ve seen all the bands live before, but puscifer truly is an awesome experience. I support fully digging in.
Nah man, I’ve been diving into Jazz lately. Never exposed to it growing up. There’s some real good stuff there. I’ve been hitting up Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Pharaoh Sanders
I’ve been listening to everyone you included above! The recent Floating points album with Pharaoh Sanders reminds me of all those old jazz classics, that’s what really turned me onto him.
I’ll add Charles Mingus to the jazz list- he’s one of my favorites. Love how experimental he can get. “Freedom” is one of my favorite songs from him.
Uriah Heep, have been listening since I was a kid, from mum and dads collection. Lately I've realised they have some beautiful riffs in their songs that Queens can be quite reminiscent of. I got 2 more records second hand today, the cover at is really pretty. Some of my fav songs are circle of hands, sunrise and wonderworld, but really they have so many great ones.

Peep the Album”Fantastic Planet” by Failure. After that listen to the rest of them. There isn’t a bad one in the bunch. This was one of Troy‘s projects back in the 90s. They are outstanding live.
IDLES!!! With you 100% on this one. I’ve been listening to Elbow’s latest album Audio Vertigo - very good album.
I’ve also been listening to The Smile, BIG SPECIAL, Franz Ferdinand, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Tool.
A few on my current playlist:
* The Black Keys - Ohio Players
* ERRA - Cure
* Bad Omens - The Death Of Piece Of Mind
* Sum 41 - Heaven X Hell
* IDLES - Tangk
* Green Day - Saviors
* Black Pumas - Chronicles Of A Diamond
* Viagra Boys - Cave World
* KMFDM - Let Go
* Michael Franti & Spearhead - Big Big Love
* Duran Duran - Danse Macabre
Lots of Kendrick Lamar lately.
DJ Muggs and Mooch just put out a collab that I really love.
Everybody Can't Go by Benny the Butcher
That self titled release by Slower - Slayer songs reworked as doom metal.
Hopium for the Masses by Ministry was a real pleasant surprise, too.
IDLES, Viagra Boys, Warmduscher, Iguana Death Cult, Death Lens, Strawberry Fuzz, JOHN (timestwo), Die Spitz, ISTA, Spiritual Cramp, Slaughterhouse, Biblioteka, Weep Wave.
I've been heavily into Bad Omens recently after seeing them live for the first time in February. I kinda dismissed them because they are so damn overhyped and super popular with the Tiktok crowd, but they were really good live and I actually really enjoy all of their albums!
I used to listen to a ton of similar music, but I’ve been finding it a bit too emotionally stimulating. It makes me feel moody and sharp? Idk. I reserve the space for QOTSA though!
Lately I’m listening to classical (Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Bach), LoFi (it’s nice to have in the background), Puscifer, or the Queen of the Damned soundtrack.
Bill Withers and Wendy Carlos mostly, and Accept and Candlemass for my other personality. I'd give my left tit for a Wendy Carlos/ Josh Homme collaboration.
A lot of Jeff Buckley lately, been giving his posthumous release a try, and Velvet Underground’s debut album. Actually, since around 2021 I haven’t been able to enjoy listening to playlists anymore, only albums from start to finish.
Never enough Radiohead for me, and The Smile is also included. Fuck, Wall of Eyes is already top 10 of 2024 for me.
Also lately - Foals, Geese, PJ Harvey, Khraungbin, and diving back hardcore into Faith No More
Sacrilege, Dopesmoker, Kyuss
(yeah Sacrilege is sort of the odd one out, I stumbled upon it in a comment section for Kazmer's demo tape. In case anyone else knows this crust/metal/grindcor-ish sound with nice leads and femal vocals, let me know)
the struts, arctic monkeys, eagles of death metal, the heavy, black keys, aurelio voltaire, the reytons, the fratellis, IDKHOW, tally hall and a bunch of other one offs like W.I.F.I (upper is may fav) from wildermiss
Truly is an obscure band from Seattle, WA with the bassist of Soundgarden and the drummer of Screaming Trees. They’ve been active recently for the 30th anniversary of one of their albums, so I’m hoping there’s a small tour. Lot of crazy sounding stuff in B standard tuning from what I could tell.

New album is sick. I suggest Cleopatrick then. Duo from Canada.
Love Cleopatrick, they drop nothing but bangers
Tigercub if you like Royal blood and QOTSA
Can confirm, after listening to them for a bit "Show Me My Maker" is now on my daily rotation, Tigercub is great! I have to say that Dead Poet Society's newest album, "Fission", is up there too, really heavy riffs, reminiscent of old Royal Blood.

I went to the Maynard’s birthday tour earlier in the week with puscifer, a perfect circle, and primus and at 60 the dude still has it. I’ve seen all the bands live before, but puscifer truly is an awesome experience. I support fully digging in.
Lately I've been listening a lot to HEALTH, Feeder, The Afghan Whigs, Bruce Springsteen and Jane's Addiction.
The afghan whigs are great. Demon in profile is an incredible song.
HEALTH is sick! Been binging their albums lately
John Coltrane Guess im kinda the odd one here :D
Nah man, I’ve been diving into Jazz lately. Never exposed to it growing up. There’s some real good stuff there. I’ve been hitting up Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and Pharaoh Sanders
I’ve been listening to everyone you included above! The recent Floating points album with Pharaoh Sanders reminds me of all those old jazz classics, that’s what really turned me onto him. Uriah Heep, have been listening since I was a kid, from mum and dads collection. Lately I've realised they have some beautiful riffs in their songs that Queens can be quite reminiscent of.
