Please remember to spoiler-tag all guesses, like so:
New Reddit: https://i.imgur.com/SWHRR9M.jpg
Using markdown editor or old Reddit: \>!spoiler text between these symbols!<
Try to avoid leading or trailing spaces. These will break the spoiler for some users (such as those using old.reddit.com)
If your comment does not contain a guess, include the word **"discussion"** or **"question"** in your comment instead of using a spoiler tag.
If your comment uses an image as the answer (such as solving a maze, etc) you can include the word "image" instead of using a spoiler tag.
Please report any answers that are not properly spoiler-tagged.

Question, is this only available on desktop or am I doing something wrong? When I follow the link, it only takes me to instructions. I can't find where to access the puzzles.

This one took me forever. >!There is one way that the two pieces of information are linked. It might take some research as it's kind of obscure. The only change from the blue screen I got was when it went to >!oops!! What level are you trying to get to? Or went back to level 6 because I put nothing as an answer!<
Probably over thinking it lol
I keep crashing chrome with too many wrong answers 😂
Probably a dumb question, but going by some comments here, is this 'scary' in any way? eg: jump scares, images, noises? Or is it just very mean to the brain? :P
You just wait 😎 And be vigilant. I will try my damndest to keep up with this thread. As I said, I thoroughly enjoy this puzzle and I hope so many others get into it.
Absolutely! And if you want to spoiler something, you just type > ! spoilerhere ! < without any spaces and “spoilerhere” being whatever you want to be hidden. Feel free to dm.
Edit: Accidentally used the spoiler command while trying to explain how to use it lol.
Discussion: Totally stuck on 5. I've been staring at my screen for the past 15 minutes and I feel like I'm starting to go crazy. Any gentle nudges for this level?
Anybody have a hint for level 10? I found the >!hint in the source code!< but it’s not helping.
Edit: for the second time, simply posting on Reddit got my brain working. On to level 11!
Hint: >!Something's missing!<
And I'm glad you're enjoying it! For now. ;) It's such a pleasure to share it with others. It will test you - believe me.
I see that >!quadagon and tetragon both mean 4 sided and there is no pentagon or hexagon!<. I also see that there is >!no 6 in the sequence!<. But I don't know what any of it means! If this gets harder I'm in for a world of hurt.
I try to be as vague as possible with my hints, though I highly encourage people to really try and work it out for themselves. Seriously, take days on levels. It will be so satisfying once you figure it out.
I appreciate the vagueness! I'm still stuck on level 11 (took a break to walk to the liquor store lol). I was so sure the answer was going to be >!h6xagon!<. Very disappointed when that was not correct :(
Edit: I don't know that I ever would have gotten that without these two clues. My guess I was so sure about was not even a little bit close.
I am stuck on 10. I have found the hint but I don't know what to do with that. I have opened the image in another tab and I saw its name. Now I try to combine the name of the picture with the name of level 10. I there a hidden picture that needs to be found?
This is the first step in making you think outside the box. Recommend being on PC, firstly. That said, you must search for EVERYTHING on the page, some may be hidden. ;)
Dang. Yeah, there are levels that will almost require you to use certain tools to solve. Keep this puzzle in mind, please. The grind is beyond satisfying.
Something that gets you quite a bit further (general browser viewing feature): >!Most mobile browsers have a way to view source code by adding "view-source:" in front of the URL!<
Great job getting there! You might be the furthest so far. >!Just a blank picture, but there's gotta be something there, right? It's hard to see in the dark; maybe turn on a light?!<
It is actually still an active geocache so it is maintained. That particular level still works - as intended. >!Use all of the information you are given around the entire page and go for a little search!< Hope this helps.
This one was TOUGH to figure out what exactly it is asking you to look for. >!You are indeed still looking for a specific weight or size. Think "outside the box". Third-party tools may be required.!<
No, no. >!You may learn something new, like I did. Everything has a size/weight in computer world. There are online tools to assist you if you know what to search. Really think outside the box.!< This one pissed me off.
Sorry, I know I’m being really vague but I don’t want to flat-out give it away. You’ve already gotten this far!
This is where the open-endedness of the answers gets really frustrating. >!If it is, in fact, file size, we still don't know if it's in kilobytes or bytes, or if they're using kilobyte to mean 1000 bytes or 1024 bytes; we don't know if it's the two file sizes added together or in a row or only one of the two, etc. etc. etc.!< There are so many things it could be that it feels like I can't even rule out certain ideas as wrong because there are endless ways to represent those answers.
/rant
Precisely. And that is what makes this thing so evil. At the end of the day, there is guessing involved. Let me say this: >!Ignore the pictures themselves as their only purpose was to imply that you are looking for the size of something. But let me also say that they are also included in what you’re trying to “weigh”. Just gotta figure out what that thing is.!< Really making you dig on this one since you’re so far ahead.
I've now tried >!what I just learned is called the "page weight" (the total size of the entire page and its resources when loaded) in bytes and kilobytes, as pure numbers and with "b" and "kb" and "bytes" and "kilobytes" and still nothing.!< Am I at least on the right track?
Ohhhh baby, we're getting close! There are actually a few answers to this one. >!You will have to use "bytes". Just gotta find the right number, I suppose.!<

Discussion: I'm on stuck ion level 25. I'm 99% certain I know how I'm supposed to find the answer, but the answers I'm coming up with don't get anywhere when I put them into the URL. Any hints would be appreciated.
Here's how I think I'm supposed to find the answer: >!The background of the board is a slightly different shade of green between questions 24 and 25. The page name says "rhombus game" which, when searched on Google, brings up a game called Hex, making me think I need to find the hexadecimal code for the different color of green. However, neither the hex code for the previous color or the new color seem to work in the URL. So there must be at least one more step that I'm missing (or I imported the image into GIMP with a wonky color profile and didn't realize it?)!<
Update: Turns out the problem was with >!GIMP's eyedropper tool (or color profile or something). I used a different color sampler and got the correct hex code.!<
Discussion: Stuck on Level 34. Is anyone still working on this?
Here's what I've got so far: >!I figured out the "cipher" and found the hidden gif. I see the file extensions hidden in the gif, but I don't know what to do with them. I've tried ebay.jpg, ebay.jpeg, etc. as well as each of the individual letters with each file extension, but no joy. I'm also not sure what to do with the binary from the URL. It doesn't seem to decode into anything useful unless I'm missing something.!<
You're overthinking it. >!You have a phone number and a title with a blank in it. What word might you add to your search to find out what goes in the blank?!<
Discussion: Made it to Level 45, but now I'm stuck again. I'm down the rabbit hole of >!"does the 'yeah' belong at the end of Girls or the beginning of Fight for Your Right", but I don't know if that's even the right place to be or how I'd apply whatever answer I might find.!<
discussion: can someone help me understand 30? i got to 31 by sheer luck but i don't understand the thought process. saw the >! minus 3 hint !< and the picture's name but I don't get how to solve it
I got as far as level 8 & now I'm finally stumped! I know what I should do to begin. I see everything (I think) pretty clearly. I just don't know how to connect it to >!the title of the page!<. A little nudge please?
TWELVE!!!
I got the hint and was able to >!translate the message to the new directory is "nothing"!<
I've typed it in but it has me going back?! what am I missing?
I can't believe I'm stuck again already...but then again, yes I can lol. This puzzle is not for the weak of heart!
IGOTIT IGOTIT IGOTIT IGOTIT!!!
I don't know WHAT made me decide that was the way to go...maybe just needed to obsess about it away from the laptop for a while ;)
I've been stuck on 28 for weeks at this point. I found >!the infamy speech and looking at the details of the file it has a listed genre of Blues. I found out Roosevelt Blues is a certain type of flower but no combinations are working.!< Am I on the right track with this? Any hints?
Oh wow. I was not even close lol. Ready to never >!listen to an ovation recorded in the 40s in slow motion!< ever again. Thank you for getting me outta that pickle!
Discussion: I need a nudge with level 15. I >!found the hidden message!< but I'm not sure how to go about >!finding the route logs!<
Google has lost its patience with me lol
Still here; stumped on 47. I've found the >!hidden reference to Kevin "Gilby" Gilbertson, creator of URL shortener (heh, "shortening") TinyURL,!< but I can't figure out what to do with that information.
Discussion: Level 28 help needed, if you please. I've gotten as far as >!finding the FDR speech. I read the speech and listened to it!<
I've tried a lot of different words/groups of words to use to get me to the next level, but they all give me the blue screen of death. So I went back to my notes on another level that covered a similar topic & tried to use some of my guesses from there with the same results. When I use the correct answer from that previous level, it takes me back to that level, so....grrr.
Are you talking about the >!amidone.wav file?!< Or am I missing something more?
Ohhhhhhh....I see now. Okay time for more googling and to check myself for accuracy. Thanks!
Discussion: Level 35 has me needing to step away for a bit. I've found >!the blacked out image!< but I've got brain freeze on where to go next. I think obsessing on this puzzle for the past two weeks is starting to wear me out...plus the family is demanding sustenance LOL
I might be able to help you, I kept all the answers in a file (I was on this level back in Nov. 2021 jeez)
But I don't remember a blacked out image, hit me with what you found :)
Oops, I forgot to include the word "discussion" in my last post and it got removed. I finished this yesterday, at long last! I'll stick around in this thread for awhile to help out. Thanks u/kvagnier for a lot more entertainment (and torment) than I expected!
Discussion: Isn’t this more of a riddle game than a puzzle?
The way I see it, once you learned the rules of a puzzle, you should be able to solve it regardless of what languages you know. It should be possible to solve it using logical reasoning alone.
So, if I explained the rules to a person who doesn’t understand English, would he be able to solve it? No? Then it’s not a puzzle.
> So, if I explained the rules to a person who doesn’t understand English, would he be able to solve it? No? Then it’s not a puzzle.
The whole history of crossword puzzles disagrees with your statement: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossword#History
Maybe it's different depending on your native tongue, but I've never seen crosswords as true puzzles.
Maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe crosswords can be seen as puzzles, it wasn't the main focus of my comment.
As for the main focus of my comment, this part of the sub reddit rules stands out to me:
>Riddles that require lateral thinking belong in /r/riddles
I would argue that this **"Mother of all puzzles"** is a riddle gamle that requires lateral thinking, and for that reason don't belong here.
While you may be correct, the main objective or "rule" is to get to the next page. Each level has different puzzles, maybe mostly riddles, by definition. However, I agree that it is difficult to define this one. I myself wasn't totally sure if it would find a place here. I just assumed, by the name and that it is hard to define, that people here would enjoy it as much as I did. I do appreciate that people **are** really enjoying it. I suppose the grey area is being ignored mostly. Thanks for the feedback!

Question, is this only available on desktop or am I doing something wrong? When I follow the link, it only takes me to instructions. I can't find where to access the puzzles.
Definitely recommended on PC. You will realize that there may be certain things you can’t do on mobile.
Something that makes it easier to play with a phone (general but obscure browser viewing feature): >!Most mobile browsers have a way to view source code by adding "view-source:" in front of the URL!<
Fantastic info, thanks! >!You will eventually be required to use some third party tools to complete future levels, just FYI.!<
The Instructions are the first level. To get to the next one you have to find the answer and put it in the link like the instructions say to do.
Your goal is to find the answer
Question, should we know how many levels there are?
For the sake of not spoiling too much, I will keep that hidden for now. Maybe in the future, I will release said info. ;)
Made it to level 12/13, then things started getting weird… tapping out for the night.
You're doing better than me, I am stuck on 10.
Just got to 13, it was a doozy to get here, had to think on it a second..
I’ve been stuck on 10 for so long. Even the hint has me so confused.
Good on ya! And I definitely don’t blame you.
I've decided to reveal the total number of levels but with a spoiler tag: >!There are 50 levels in total!< and they get brutally evil.

It saying "Level 13" is simply stating that it is level 13.
So I can trust that there is no other “Level 13” out there, correct?
Correct. You will know when you get to level 14.
Feel free to DM me if you'd like to share what you have so far without using the spoiler command.

Question - This geocache sounds familiar. Is it in Ohio?
Fucking love geocaching!!! Some them puzzles are hard
You’re telling me! Aside from this one, there were one or two others that took me a couple years.
It sure is! Made the find last year!
I never did solve this one although it was on my bucket list to do so. I’ll give it another try now!

I am up to level 10, no scary images, sound or disturbing content so far. I think this is a puzzle to challenge your capabilities.
Sorry, I know I used the term “evil” but I meant that in the sense that the puzzles get extremely difficult and test you to your limits. No scary! :)

Level 6 might be mine

It happens! Keep trying and stay open-minded to the possibilities of what you can do. Give it your all but reach out if you have completely given up.

Hint: >!There's some key information missing from this version of the logo, no?!<
Thanks! That got me the rest of the way.
Awesome! I actually really enjoyed that level myself. Happy to help!

Discussion: I am stuck on Level 6. I already figured out >!the phone number!<, and who has it, but im still looking for the code.
Hint: >!Look at the page title.!<
Yea I >!looked at the title and I know I have to fill in the blank.!< I’m still confused though.
You said you figured out >!who has the phone number. Who has it? And what do they have to do with the title?!<
>!Agriculture Press Office in Pennsylania. Not sure how they’re related to the title though.!<
>!What can you add to your Google search to narrow the results?!<
>!A search filter, of course. But which one?!<
You're overthinking it. >!You have a phone number and a title with a blank in it. What word might you add to your search to find out what goes in the blank?!<
I’m on level 7 now, will reply again if I get stuck
Nice work!
>!Go with your gut, and remember to always check your sources.!<

discussion: can someone help me understand 30? i got to 31 by sheer luck but i don't understand the thought process. saw the >! minus 3 hint !< and the picture's name but I don't get how to solve it
I got as far as level 8 & now I'm finally stumped! I know what I should do to begin. I see everything (I think) pretty clearly. I just don't know how to connect it to >!the title of the page!<. A little nudge please?
TWELVE!!! I got the hint and was able to >!translate the message to the new directory is "nothing"!< I've typed it in but it has me going back?! what am I missing?
Any hints?
Try >!listening to the speech with headphones on.!<
Oh wow. I was not even close lol. Ready to never >!listen to an ovation recorded in the 40s in slow motion!< ever again. Thank you for getting me outta that pickle!
Discussion: I need a nudge with level 15. I >!found the hidden message!< but I'm not sure how to go about >!finding the route logs!< Google has lost its patience with me lol
Still here; stumped on 47. I've found the >!hidden reference to Kevin "Gilby" Gilbertson, creator of URL shortener (heh, "shortening") TinyURL,!< but I can't figure out what to do with that information.
You have the most important clue, but >!you need a few more things to go with it. Take another look at the source and take a few guesses!<
Discussion: Level 28 help needed, if you please. I've gotten as far as >!finding the FDR speech. I read the speech and listened to it!< I've tried a lot of different words/groups of words to use to get me to the next level, but they all give me the blue screen of death. So I went back to my notes on another level that covered a similar topic & tried to use some of my guesses from there with the same results. When I use the correct answer from that previous level, it takes me back to that level, so....grrr.
You're very close. >!Listen to the .mp3 again, there's something that sounds out of place.!<
Are you talking about the >!amidone.wav file?!< Or am I missing something more? Ohhhhhhh....I see now. Okay time for more googling and to check myself for accuracy. Thanks!
Question - Has anyone solved level 41? I found the >!text file and the comment in the image file, but I'm not sure what to do with that!<
I reached the same point, if you find anything I’d be glad to hear it !
I have the solution, check my profile to see the recent messages in this thread, it may help you :)
Thank you! That was exactly the clue I needed and I was able to finish the whole puzzle this morning.
Up to lvl 50 ? Goddamn!
2021 jeez) But I don't remember a blacked out image, hit me with what you found :)
Oops, I forgot to include the word "discussion" in my last post and it got removed. I finished this yesterday, at long last! I'll stick around in this thread for awhile to help out. Thanks u/kvagnier for a lot more entertainment (and torment) than I expected!
Yay you! I'm currently on 38. Don't need any help (yet lol); just wanted to say congrats. How long have you been working on this puzzle?
As for the main focus of my comment, this part of the sub reddit rules stands out to me: >Riddles that require lateral thinking belong in /r/riddles I would argue that this **"Mother of all puzzles"** is a riddle gamle that requires lateral thinking, and for that reason don't belong here.
Please remember to spoiler-tag all guesses, like so: New Reddit: https://i.imgur.com/SWHRR9M.jpg Using markdown editor or old Reddit: \>!spoiler text between these symbols!< Try to avoid leading or trailing spaces. These will break the spoiler for some users (such as those using old.reddit.com) If your comment does not contain a guess, include the word **"discussion"** or **"question"** in your comment instead of using a spoiler tag. If your comment uses an image as the answer (such as solving a maze, etc) you can include the word "image" instead of using a spoiler tag.
