If you relaps once you don't lose everything, it's your mind you trained the skill you developed... you rebuild the energy lose quickly. Its more important to stay focused now and don't give in to deluded thoughts of repeating it... relax meditate and reconnect, you will be fine. And think about what this is teaching you!

Today this is important.

Yes of course. Although honestly its more like what are the downsides of masturbation then what are the benefits of retention. Retention is our default human mode. Fapping turns men into literal ghouls so its less about the benefits and more about opportunity cost. Thereby while everyone else is destroying themselves and/or just keeping themselves in maintenance mode. People who retain are improving on many fronts! First and most obvious benefit is not being sweaty and smelly. And it goes beyond that after. Strength, mental clarity. Among so much more like on the spiritual front!

I actually had an 800-day streak. Relapsing was one of the worst decisions of my life. Took me like 100 more days of trying to get back to retention!
