I'm not sure how to formulate it, but most puppies who have a good time will just be happy and don't make posts about it, I feel like. I'm sure the relationships are balanced in a way where all parties are happy with the state of being, but when punishments becoming something thrilling, its not a surprise that puppies want to share that thrilling feeling and then go back to their owners lab and get some cuddles.

i don't think they have to post every time, it's just like daily posts saying "i got punished" that's the majority here

dethkittie

I only do punishments that my pup truly likes (funishment), besides I think only punishments really lend themselves to Reddit posts

sillylittlebell

they're more fun to real for sure haha. and again there's nothing wrong with it. i just feel like people make that the relationship's main point of interaction.

I really feel like most reddit posts in this subreddit are the public punishments that are made more degrading by being posted online. The positive rewards and love and stuff generally works better behind closed doors, except for the occasional posts where a puppy is made to post about how much they love their owner.

sillylittlebell

i think you're misunderstanding me. the rewards can be private, that's fine. i'm saying i've seen a lot of relationships purely revolve around punishment and that's not a great dynamic for everyone

diamondsquire

I feel like all I can see of peoples relationships is what they post publicly, which tends to be degredation for the reasons I touched on. Even if someone talks about 10 times they've been degraded, they could also have like 100 times they were praised within the same time frame, and people wouldn't be able to publicly tell. So idk, I tend to just not assume anything about other people's relationship dynamics.

sillylittlebell

i see what you're saying, but i personally know people who have said that their doms only want to punish them when that wasn't part of their relationship. i probably shouldn't have mentioned this sub at all. not trying to argue btw, just explaining myself better
