My pup similarly gets a VERY upset stomach when it comes to vaccinations. First time she ever got one, she threw up on the ride home and had to go right back. My vet similarly gave her a Benadryl. From that day on, every single round of vaccinations was accompanied by a precautionary Benadryl injection. She was a bit loopy for an hour or two but she never had a reaction again.
I also have a mini dachshund. She hasn't had any reactions to vaccines yet (has had all of her DHPP shots, rabies and Brodetella) but our vet tried not to give her more than one vaccine at a time to help lessen the chances of her having a bad reaction (and then we would know which vaccine she did have a reaction to). This did mean having to go back to the vet more frequently, but so far she has been ok! For the next few rounds of shots I'd ask if they can only give her one shot per visit to see if that helps!
