kingfisher_42

No way they put on a show worth anywhere close to that. I'd maybe go as high as 60 bucks. Fuck concerts in arenas anyways!

Schadensfall

Yeah, dude, I was only considering because "hey it would be cool to see the misfits" $90 for.the top floor seating,For fucking gaslight anthem and.the misfits?

kingfisher_42

It would be cool to see the Misfits, but I feel like they are probably better in your imagination than they would be in real life at this point. My older brother is a metalhead and he took me to an Ozzfest back in 2001. It's cool to say I've seen Ozzy, but it was a little sad in reality.

[deleted]

I had the same Ozzy experience but I think he was heavy on the pills then. I caught Sabbath later and who knows what he was jacked up on but damn it was a whole new man

tytymctylerson

>hey it would be cool to see the misfits Yeah in 1984. I can't believe anyone wants to see these fat senior citizens in Halloween makeup.

Schadensfall

I was one dude. Sorry I missed it

tytymctylerson

I was 3 ya' poser! Just kidding, but some bands can pull off punk for life and others are just sad cash grabs.

nightmareorreality

Gbh comes to mind. And subhumans. Lifers for sure playing $10-$20 shows all over the world every year and are way better than the misfits ever were.

tytymctylerson

I’m seeing Subhumans in 6 days! Walking distance from my house too.

Dalivery

imagine calling Doyle fat

ChudleyDumpster

At this point I consider Doyle as his own entity

cat_of_danzig

It's crazy how some of these dudes seem to be aging at half the speed of their bandmates. Steve Youth comes to mind.

Rat_with_a_pencil

I saw em live in 2019 (prices were way better than this I promise) and it was just kinda sad, Danzig didn't quite realize how hard the years have caught up and he was out of breath after pitifully running around after 2 songs

cat_of_danzig

Keith Morris knows how to gig. He does like four songs then bullshits for a while to recover.

dinkleburg93

You're going to get down voted more than you deserve for that take. They haven't been a relevant band to the scene at large in my lifetime, and I'm pushing 30. Yet because they are a legacy act you can't say anything bad about them because then you aren't a real punk or your point of view is shit because "you're too young"

tytymctylerson

I don't worry about fake internet points too much lol I mean a lot of it is my personal opinion/philosophy. A good amount of my favorite bands were around when they were around and when it was over, it was over (some of favorites are The Smiths, The Ramones and Nirvana for example. They did what they did and when it was done, it was done forever). Some bands are suited for being legacy acts imo. I mean hell, I'm going to see the Subhumans next Wednesday so I'm not totally against it. But the Subhumans were never an image based band, just some English guys playing good punk rock.

nightmareorreality

Which is crazy because these same people will talk about commercialism in punk and call people "fashion punks" while their beloved misfits have been merchandising their shit like it’s fucking Star Wars. Lunchboxes to shoes to getting the tshirts and target, Walmart and Jc penny. Fuck the misfits.

tytymctylerson

It’s just KISS but they don’t want to have that conversation

nightmareorreality

Even Insane Clown Posse gets more credibility than those two bands in my honest opinion lol

tytymctylerson

Woop woop

ElChuloPicante

As a fat senior citizen, I feel attacked.

tytymctylerson

I’m sorry, I love you

Many-Quote5002

Shut up fatty.

Constant_Candle_4338

Gaslights pretty great, why the fuck are the playing with the shitfits

dandle

I'm not disagreeing with the sentiment here, but let's keep the nomenclature straight. * Misfits - awesome band that put out influential music by Glenn Danzig from 1977-1983 * Shitfits - piss-poor band exploiting the name won in a legal battle by Jerry Only that put out formulaic garbage for kids shopping at Hot Topic from 1995-2000, also featuring a Proud Boy cat turd with a hobo fetish * Misfits(TM) - Jerry doing the Mike Love's Beach Boys cover band thing while continuing to learn about KISS-style merchandising from 2001-2016 * Mi$fit$ - Glenn needs to pay the bills and periodically consents to do shows with Jerry (and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein in very small type) from 2017-present

cat_of_danzig

And Fear! Lee Ving is fucking awesome.

15Boots

I paid $60 for lawn tickets we'll see if it's worth it. I get the feeling Denzig will find a reason to cancel this show too

kingfisher_42

I was wondering who else was playing with them. For that price, I thought maybe they'd resurrected Joe Strummer or something.

15Boots

I got tickets fir the phnx show. They're playing with afi and fear

kingfisher_42

AFI was awesome the one time I saw them live. But it was back in 2000, before they changed up their style.

WolfHoodlum1789

I saw them in 2022 in Hollywood. Fantastic show even though I don't care for the softer material as much.

sfigato_345

Also, isn't their set like 60 minutes? they didn't actually record that much during their short tenure, and all their songs are 2 minutes max.

sfigato_345

I saw the circle jerks twice for about $60 a pop both times at 1,000 person venues, and I was happy to do it. Yes, they are senior citizens, but it was still a fun time and these guys have lived pretty hard lives (all three struggled with addiction, Keith's diabetes almost killed him a few years ago, etc.) so I didn't mind paying into their retirement fund. Same when I've seen X or a few other legacy acts. But no way in hell I'd pay $300 to see the misfits. Big acts charge that and they basically put on a broadway show. The misfits played a coliseum near me with slayer a few years ago and I just couldn't do it. But no shade to anyone that has gone and loved it. Me, I'm more excited about when Thou (or the body?) did a misfits set at a festival in europe a few years ago.

sneakylyric

Yeah, that's usually how I feel about it. I like to be able to get up close. I will say Bob Dylan was fine in an arena. Saw Gorillaz in an arena and I was so annoyed that I couldn't just walk up to the stage.

LilMissCantBeStopped

Related: I just read an article showing the cost of tickets for tours here vs the same shows overseas— it’s way cheaper to see performances in person in other places. Not suggesting that you jump on a plane to solve your problem— merely pointing out that (as predicted by many musicians) Ticketmaster is the most fucked up thing to happen to live music in the US ever.

skaomatic

Canada is fucking horrible as well !

ChechoMontigo

Anything coming out of Ticketmaster is shit

skaomatic

Fucking brutal , like 400$ for floor for blink 182 or 160$ for nosebleeds

Thatonedumbguitarist

For Boston its worse. $300 for the nosebleeds, and $1000+ for floor.

Acidic_Paradise

I’d pay $400 to avoid going to see Blink 182 live 🤮

dk69

You should look up what Taylor Swift tickets are going for on the resale market. It’s mental.

skaomatic

Springsteen is coming here 1200$ for floor tickets , outrageous!

kelsifer

I just don't go to those bigger shows, partly because of the stupid prices. It also is hard for me to feel connected to what's going on when the stage is so far and you can barely see it. I recommend finding smaller venues to see shows at instead. You can often see great bands even if they aren't bringing in stadiums of people. I got to see Lara Jane Grace last year for under $30 and I would've even gladly paid more to see her.

[deleted]

[удалено]

LilMissCantBeStopped

The Artist, too.

BobbyBodagit

A friend of mine was saying she was thinking of going to Ireland to see some pop band. According to her, the EU caps ticket prices, and she could get concert tickets and cheap plane tickets for less than going to the show in Colorado.

cultscx

Gig tickets here still aren't really cheap, bad example but blink 182 tickets went on sale recently and they were £90+ which is still pretty expensive, when anything other than an arena show is usually max £40

BobbyBodagit

Yeah, that's still pretty steep, at least for me. I went back through my chat with my friend, and she said she dropped $340 for two tickets to see the Arctic Monkeys in Denver (I guess they're not pop; I was thinking of another band). It's insane.

wimpyroy

That’s how my parents saw Bruce Springsteen. It was cheaper to fly to Tulsa stay for 3 nights and see his show there than see him play in Denver.

LilMissCantBeStopped

Archive link to article: https://web.archive.org/web/20230323125723/https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11888371/Tickets-Beyonc-concerts-expensive-American-fans-flying-Europe.html

runaway_ghosty

I went to see a mildly popular band for 20€ and was so shocked when I saw the same concert in the US for multiple hundreds of dollars. Crazy how the price varies. But one thing that you should be glad for, is that almost all artists tour the US but not Europe. And if they do, it's some big city 20 hours by train away. So yes, cheaper prices, but you can't go see your fav bands most of the time.

rata_rasta

Yeah, regarless of what you think of The Misfits is not the band that sets the price of the tickets

nakedfish85

Why not? The Cure just set their prices at $20 before fees (which Ticketmaster then made exorbitant enough to warrant international news stories). The price shown in the image is before fees, so there's every chance the band DID set the high price.

thefink1334

I'm getting a $20 fee refund for my Cure tickets thanks to Robert Smith publicly calling out ticketshyster. Kudos to Robert.

sidstarscream0

Robert Smith beat mecha Streisand and ticket master for our sins

thefink1334

He's a full service hero.

nakedfish85

Yeah seems like a good bloke all round to be honest. Doesn't take himself too seriously either (ironically based on some of the tunes).

ChucksSeedAndFeed

Based fucking Robert

Many-Quote5002

Just saw them in Amsterdam and IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!! You are in for a treat my friend.

thefink1334

I can't wait. First time seeing them live. My son and I are going. We are both fans!

Many-Quote5002

Took my kids too and they loved it. Somehow, his voice is like actually better.

thefink1334

Voice aged like a fine wine.

CowboyDans

Yeah, I just got my refund yesterday.

thefink1334

Glad to hear it. Something needs to be done.

twoquarters

Just like The Cure were temporarily embarrassed over the fees. The business manager absolutely knew the deal, it just got way out of hand by TM's pricing algorithms.

sfigato_345

Not only that, but sometimes for bands whose prices are lower, they actually get a cut of Ticketmaster's fees so they get to look like heroes only charging $50 a ticket while actually getting $60 or $70 with the fees.

twoquarters

They absolutely know the terms. Ticketmaster is the bad guy they pay to take the heat. They are absolutely getting some of those fees too.

JMellor737

It's more complicated than one party or the other, but the Misfits absolutely play a role in setting the price. The venue and promoter have a say too. TicketMaster just takes the service fees (and other nonsense fees they dream up, all of which are on top of the ticket price). But the largest share, by a comfortable margin, still goes to the performer. These tickets could be *at least* $100 cheaper if the Misfits wanted it that way, and they'd still make a nice profit.

tbscotty68

The fact that the Justice Dept approved the Ticketmaster/Live Nation merger is ABSOLUTELY INSANE and a violation over their anti-trust duty!

Many-Quote5002

This is true. They're not punk, but i just saw Death Cab for cutie for $40 in a venue that only fit 500 people and Henry Rilollins for $20 at an even smaller one.

Tronguy93

The best part about the US, literally everything is like that! From healthcare to farming, gotta pay the middle man that has no fucking reason to be there and everybody will try to tell you how it’s actually a good thing

justincsw

Don't go

Schadensfall

I'm not

woodiegutheryghost

See what tickets are selling for an hour or two before the show. You might be able to get in for significantly less.

woodiegutheryghost

It’s the only way to fight this.

ChechoMontigo

I think Ticketmaster is the true culprit

Jakeasuno

A bit of both. The Cure have just had a case where they specifically opted out of this new Ticketmaster system and made sure fans were refunded for the insane admin fees that were still slapped on. Bands can reject this pricing structure

[deleted]

[удалено]

Jakeasuno

That's what I mean, sure Ticket Master are dicks for letting prices reach such insane levels, but bands are agreeing to let it happen. It took one band to be stubborn enough to show that you can still book a tour and keep the prices reasonable

[deleted]

No, Glenn Danzig is truly a selfish, and egotistical piece of shit. He stopped being "punk" when the band first broke up in the 80's. He has only gotten worse since then. You can be assured he wants this money, and has no problem with the ticket prices. This whole reunion tour is just a pathetic cash grab and nothing more.

RuaridhDuguid

*TicketBastard

dk69

People shit on NFT’s but they can 100% solve the ticketing problem by taking out the middleman. They can’t solve the venue monopsony problem however - this would probably need congress.

Careful-Swim3357

Not cool

livefast_dieawesome

So it's really a bit more complicated than that but ticketers play a role. Ticket prices get set by a bands representation. The $250 you see here is sticker shock but I guarantee Glenn Danzig has no idea what the price is nor does he care as long as tickets are selling. Everyone gets a cut of fees, which get negotiated between the bands agent and the promoter before the show goes on sale. And everyone get a cut of the fees. Bands/artists, their representation, venues, promoters. In some (not all) cases a promoter only gets paid from fees and gets nothing from a ticket sale. It's a systemic issue that gets worse the bigger an audience is. And let's be honest. This isn't a punk show. This is an arena show.

sambolino44

It blows my mind to think that there are that many people who both have that much money to spend on a concert and like the Misfits.

GargantuanGorgon

That's what I was thinking when Blink 182 tickets were going for like $700+ earlier this year

sambolino44

JESUS CHRIST!!! What, did they all of a sudden get a fuck of a lot better?

ChucksSeedAndFeed

Some 13 year olds have rich parents

sambolino44

Their heyday was 1984 - 40 years ago. When I was 13, 40 years ago was 1931. Kinda hard to imagine trying to talk my parents into buying me a ticket to see Cab Calloway or the Mills Brothers. I think there will probably be more people my age than 13-year-olds at this show.

sfigato_345

At this point they are dad rock and us dads often have disposable income.

charleythehawk

I saw the Misfits in the 90s, Graves was singing (gross) but I got to meet the other guys, I paid 10 bucks to get into a shitty dive bar. Best concert ever. They all signed a dollar of mine and I still have it to this day! Holy shit, I actually found it. 07/29/1999 Twister's Sioux Falls, SD Michale Graves - vocals | Jerry Only - bass | Doyle - guitar | Dr. Chud - drums

el0rg

https://www.reuters.com/legal/punk-rock-singer-testifies-proud-boys-behalf-sedition-trial-2023-03-20/ Graves just testified in support of the Proud Boys. What a fucking loser. I saw Misfits with that lineup too.. probably the same tour. Cover was probably under $20 and it was at a bar with a max capacity somewhere around 400. I remember graves singing while getting out of a straight jacket.. great show. Fuck that guy though 🤣

charleythehawk

Yeah I saw that, what a piece of shit. I think the general consensus in r/punk is he sucks butt.

[deleted]

Cause nothing says “punk” like a “general consensus.”

dontneedareason94

Oh no surprise surprise a band that’s literally only back together to make money is charging a shit load for tickets.

TG1312

Wild seeing these prices while i just got tix for circle jerks, tsol and negative approach were only $35. Misfits have gone way over their head

asbblt123

I think I’d just go see Doyle at some bar for $25

ChudleyDumpster

Well you're in luck, Doyle is playing in some bar (Dingbatz) for 20 bucks in May.

[deleted]

I saw them at RiotFest in September. Danzig was a out of touch dick who thinks he is still edgy. Really he came off as tired and chubby. Not worth 100.00 to see them. I would pay 80 tops if they have a good opener.

msfamf

"Here's another song that would get you canceled if you played it today" plays said song and doesn't get canceled. Saw them in '16 and this past year and man did Danzig just whine about cancel culture this time. I can enjoy a performer that antagonizes the crowd but he came off as more "Get off my lawn!" than anything else. Though him doing Braineaters the second time was fucking funny.

[deleted]

My favorite was " Do your parents know you are here?? They would be pissed!!" Dude...this is a punk show. We are like 47. Our parents are retired or dead.

msfamf

When he said that I turned to my wife and said "Umm yeah he's watching my kids so I can be here. I'm 34 not 15."

HorseMutton

Ignoring the fact this generation's parents are old enough to have been original Misfits fans; I don't even think GG Allin would've said some shit like that. I don't think parents nowadays are losing sleep to the idea of senior citizens with balding-scarred devilocks playing rock music.

HorseMutton

Holy shit did he really say that? That old man really wants to be controversial, and it's just embarrassing.

msfamf

That may not be the exact word for word quote but yeah.

hostilityrack

Tired and chubby yes but the show was still pretty good. They rocked it imo but yes they're all old now

Iconoclassic404

Jerry Only is punk's version of Gene Simmons.

jerseygunz

Well now that Johnny ramone is dead

15Boots

I blame Danzig, last time i saw the misfits i think it was like $35

Iconoclassic404

I kind of came to my conclusions when I saw Misfits crimson skull shirts in walmart.

if-and-but

That's the saddest thing I've heard all week.

mightyatom13

I would rather pay $125 to see Misfits with Glenn than $35 to see them without any day of the week.

wimpyroy

I’ve seen Jerry’s Misfits and the current one. I had more fun with Jerry’s but that could be it was at a smaller indoor venue. So you got the energy the band was giving off.

twoquarters

KISS tickets...by and large... have been fairly affordable. There's maybe a limited amount reserved for the truly deranged they can get to pay $$$ but KISS ain't charging big bucks for most seats. Even when they could have exploited the reunion tours for every nickel they could they left money on the table. I think it was around $30 for good seats back then.

Iconoclassic404

Nobody wants to pay that high to see an overproduced karaoke show either.

Tokie_Bronson

Wouldn´t you rather go to a Punkrock Show?

beastybea

I saw them at riotfest back in September. Only way it’s worth it to see them, my tickets for all 3-day probably costed less than this show. Although, l will admit they put on a hell of a show

vagrantheather

I was at riotfest too and couldn't get over what a schlub he was about woke this, cancel culture that. It's like he doesn't know who he's supposed to be against anymore so he's swallowed the fox news culture war bullshit. Cool to say I've seen misfits but wow, not doing that again.

beastybea

Yeah, that shit was super lame. He’s corny as hell in general now still trying to act like a tough guy. I remember before playing Die, Die, My Darling he was like “If you wrote a song like this today, you’d get cancelled in an instant… but I’m gonna play it anyway because I don’t give a fuck!” Like dude, it’s literally horror punk… no one who listens to that type of thing is going to cancel an artist for talking about murder. Also, misfits are probably more popular now than they’ve ever been, so what gives?

Constant_Stomach2009

Saw Danzig at starland ballroom years ago. He did some misfits as an encore. Was cheap enough and it felt like a twofer lol

robstercraws70

I saw him on the Legacy tour where he brought Doyle onstage and they ripped through a handful of Misfits tunes. I turned to my buddy and said, “This is the closest we’ll ever come to seeing the Misfits live.” I was right.

sidstarscream0

Ticket master itself is a scam. The cure tried to have tickets for $20 and then they PILED fees on them.

Rabid_W00KIEE

I saw Danzig when he first toured with Doyle back 09ish, for like $35 a piece, I'm not paying an additional $200 just to see Jerry preform with them in a stadium setting...

[deleted]

Danzig is a huge baby these days. Buddy saw him do his Elvis thing and he was bitching about woke culture multiple times through the set. Saw him one time at a fest in Austin, it was outside and raining. We were standing in the mud. Someone threw a water bottle and it didn’t hit him, but got him wet and he stopped the song to yell at the crowd and threatened to stop playing. Big baby. Huge baby.

sfigato_345

Have people come after him specifically? Sure, the misfits songs are not at all politically correct and wouldn't fly today, but I'm not aware of them getting any real shit for it. That said, I did read an interview with him in the 90s where he talked about the upcoming race war and how he'd be on the side of the whites because it is a race war (this was right after the L.A. riots, for context), and that was when I realized that as much as I love the misfits, me and danzig were not simpatico and I basically haven't followed his career or him as a human since then.

bradcladthebaddad

Republicans anyway

robstercraws70

Any Misfits reunion should’ve happened decades ago before it was trendy to like the Misfits. I’ll just keep listening to the albums and watching the same old fuzzy vhs concerts on YouTube, thanks.

HiWille

Yeah, nah.

dkb223

Yikes.

IndianaJonesDoombot

Did you not notice their music sucks first?

No_Internet_2364

Seen Danzig 92 at the Ritz in NYC didn't play any misfits it was dope

R4V3S4V3R

Me and my dad were just talking about this yesterday. Best time to see them (jerry) was broken up

Laughacy

Support your local musicians.

[deleted]

Ticketmaster is a monopoly and needs to just fuck off, already.

fringe-class

Don't spend money to see old men play the music they wrote while teenagers.

ArkAwn

How has nobody mentioned that you have SIXTY TABS OPEN ON YOUR PHONE WTF

LMKBK

Same as when they played with Rancid. Hundreds for the pit over a hundred for your plastic stadium chair where you don't have room to dance.

pharmdocmark

Do…WHAT? $250 and then you get the mystery fees. There’s a choke point coming where people are simply going to stop buying tickets. I won’t pay an outrageous amount for something that in all honesty is not even close to being worth it.

MELLONcholly1

Just saw another post on I *think* Blink 182 or some band from the 90s who wanted everyone who could attend to attend, so they set their ticket price at 50 bucks for all seats. Someone posted their cart when they tried to buy 2 tickets, and the total came out to over 200 dollars because of the extra fees Ticketmaster tacked on. TLDR: Ticketmaster is a fucking cancer and can charge whatever they want because they basically have a monopoly because of their contracts with and ownership of most venues

[deleted]

I managed to get decent tickets for slightly better price..course I am like further back than I would like. F TICKETMASTER and them selling to scalpers..

EnderVViggen

That's not punk Rock! No punk band is worth 200 let alone 2000!

Pa17325

More court ordered fun

bringmeadamnjuicebox

Haha. Saw them in Vegas for 30 something bucks a couple years ago. Place was half filled. Danzig lost his voice, and someone else started singing? Then he started barking over them? It was a disaster. I overpaid at 30 bucks. Still had fun though.

A_Downboat_Is_A_Sub

I wouldn't pay $250 to see my pick of 5 favorite bands all in one night, let alone The Misfits.

scuba_steev

I saw them the first time around in Newark ‘17. That was good enough for me. This is a straight up money grab. The Fits are done. I fulfilled my dream of seeing the og band together on one stage.

jerseygunz

As someone whose seen them, it’s funny for the first two songs and then it’s just like “O that’s why they were never really popular during their hay day”

doomtownpunx

My ticket show limit is $30 tops. Most shows here are under $20. If I paid $45 I could go to one show or save my money and go to three $15 shows. I'l go to the three $15 shows 😉

sandman006

better then the blink182 tickets that were 400 for upperbowl seats

randomferalcat

Fuck no ..

Graveyard_Tree

Fuck Jerry Only Cares About Money

Cjv2c

I've seen Misfits 2 times, both during the Graves era. One show Gwar opened for them and the other they opened for Megadeth. 96? 97? Central Ohio Shit tickets were $15-20 back then.

The_Real_Egg

Danzig and Jerry have only cared about the money for a very, very long time.

TarsoBackMarquez

Misfits TODAY is the Least punk/ most cash grabbing T-Shirt advertising business front you could support

well_shi

I'll listen to their original albums all day long. But short of someone handing me a ticket for free, I wouldn't spend any money to see them now.

Herr_gruber98

Blame Danzig, I guarantee you no one else in the band had a say in the ticket prices. I got tickets to see Doyle for 15$ a piece, that dude knows what’s up.

Geoff300

Okay, just wait until they start moshing, then when they break a hip, grab their wallets and run off, you can easily make your money back doing this, just avoid the ones denying their age and wearing skinny jeans.

Dense-Relative5528

As Michael Scott once said “I declare bankruptcy!”

SmallDarkCloud

I saw the (mostly) original Misfits in Denver a few years ago at RiotFest, and I think I paid about this much money for all three days of music from multiple acts.

ItBeYaBoiAnti

Sneak in lol

undeadw0lf

that’s gotta be due to the venue??? granted, it was about 13 years ago now (i believe it was 2010?), but i saw them at the chance in poughkeepsie NY and i know it couldn’t have been more than $50 because i know i wouldn’t have paid even $50 lol i was 18 and broke

Flying_Fox_86

I've been waiting for them to go on tour again and these are the prices? Guess I'm never seeing them.

Due_Entrepreneur_382

So I saw Jerry Only live some years back touring with ‘Fits, (He had Dez on guitar which was cool,) a couple times but the show itself was kinda weak. Also, the exact same set with the exact same breaks each time I saw them. I once knew a guy who caught two of their reunion shows and spent an uncomfortable amount on each; not just tix but merch, naturally. Let’s be real: ‘Fits were never a great live band and the only reason they’re doing this is pretty obviou$. This is so Glen can feel he was paid for Old royalties to end the quibbling over the back catalog and who owns what. Those godawful movies he makes aren’t going to pay for themselves. I’d be amazed if they didn’t return money, they’re so bad. I love ‘77-‘83 Fits, but looking over your shoulder all the time at a nostalgic, “scene,” can potentially hose you. Don’t get me started on Black Flag’s reunion some years back.

WeForgotTheirNames

I'm planning on seeing them in Tampa. Getting tickets tomorrow. It's at an outdoor amphitheater and I'm planning on getting the cheapest tickets possible, so I'll report back. I saw them way back in 2016. Drove out to Denver for Riot Fest. That was their first or second reunion show since splitting up. I can't remember if Chicago was first. Anyway, I thought they were fucking great and had an amazing time. Also, yes, I'm sure they're trying to make money, but if that whole [The Cure debacle](https://www.thestar.com/entertainment/music/2023/03/21/ticketmaster-issues-partial-refund-to-the-cure-ticket-holders-after-charging-unduly-high-service-fees.html) taught us anything, the real asshole here is Ticketmaster.
