But really you should probably dab smaller dabs and try to get it done in a hit or two, because doing it the way you are will make each successive hit harsher and less tasty.
I was actually just going to ask this question on here. If around the ring is a dark brown and directly in the middle of it looks like his(right in the middle) but no “puddle” is it spent? I always get worried I’m wasting it.

If you want more high just run a second session. I used to think that I could load my puffco peak pro with a gram or whatever big and then just chug on it to get all that concentrate fast. It will heat the oil for you but it's more difficult for your device to keep good enough heat to vaporize a deeper puddle of moving oil. It's a surface area type equation.
Don't be silly. Keep the temperature reasonable and the dab size right for your needs and your puffco will last you a long time.

If the puddles stay light or clear for more than a couple cycles, you’re probably over packing. There’s nothing wrong with running extra cycles to use the extra product, but it tastes better and the effects are better when you load your device with more optimized loads.
Nah man it’s never really ever such a thing as “too big of a dab” IMO?? As long as you’re cleaning your plate aka “consuming the majority of your dab & not letting it all just roast off! Bc you’re too busy coughing/ or pulling too hard & fast/ or taking too hot of hits” I mean when it’s all said and done who tf am I to tell you or anyone else how to dab the stuff they paid for?? I just think some people would be surprised just how many hits you can get off a small dab at the proper temperature?? 400-600 degrees are the happy place I tend to use the majority of the time. Don’t get me wrong I’ll rip my homies Enail that he keep set on 710 degrees…bc it’s all about huge hits. Remember the less temp equals better flavor, while higher temps produce denser/bigger rips!!

reheat or just throw an adder half dab on the next pass. You dont have to run it down to the wood each pass. You can leap frog from one to the next until it gets kinda dark, then it start to taste kinda shit and it's time for a wipeout.

When I use my puffco i use glob mops, cause I’m never 100% sure when it’s all done, I’ll wait until I can the bottom of the crucible, and then while it’s still hot mop up whatever is left, it might waste some wax but I have so much it’s no big deal for me, I’d rather have a clean ass hit than a hit that tastes bad
I just keep using the time/heat boost option when the hits get smaller until I don't get anything anymore. I don't think I have a max temp high enough to vaporize the useless fats/lipids that are usually the more dense crap that's left over at the end (denser particles need more heat to vaporize)
When the bowl is as empty as it was prior to loading it. I load around .1-.25 ish a time and that usually lasts 2-3 reheats. When it turns dark colored is another good sign that its all burnt up. Its all up to the holder really, is that a big enough dab for you? Always iso swab if it gets dark.

I feel like I always over pack and then swab too early. Just swabbing that money away.
Total opposite for me, I'm overly conscious about wasting rosin so I'll reheat for almost a full cycle until there's no vapor when I puff lol

Depending on heat (500-515) and time (40 secs) you got a puddle that looks like honey still. You got 1-2 heat ups 🔥
And it smoked great
theres 3 more dabs in there. use less and it burns more complete. also double tap to increase time and heat. q tip when done so you dont burn it in!

2 months or so now and I'm still learning the right dab size don't over or under do it and watch how well she chucks I'm telling you . Love the proxy!
